If you are a returning guest and are interested in becoming a member, please contact host. **To ensure your visit is an enjoyable experience, please read the entire description of the property, fencing details and my property rules.** Our completely fenced 1.25 acre Sniffspot and completely fenced property perimeter gives you peace of mind that your pups are safe and secure as you let them play and explore. With a gently sloping pasture for running and trees and stumps for exploring, your fur baby is sure to find something that sparks their interest. Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek that is fully fenced with horse fencing or barbed wire (see pictures). The red gate begins your off-leash experience! You'll have the option to take a left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Given this is an active farm with chickens and ducks free ranging we do ask that you keep your dog(s) on a leash until you are behind the red gate. You are also welcome to observe the farm animals while your dog is leashed as well. Check out our extras! We have eggs, a fire pit rental (bring your friends w/ dogs!) and wood available. Notify us if you'd like to use the pasture for a doggie celebration and we can figure out what you'll need for the special occasion. We hope you enjoy our farm as much as we do. ~ Hall Family

Very large area for dogs to run and play. Easy parking and entrance to backyard. You can have the back yard to yourself. There is a table, chairs, some toys like tennis balls and a throwing thingy, fresh water and a large garbage disposal bin to leave poop bags at the entrance gate. Come and enjoy our yard. WE HAVE JUST FINISHED A 10 X 12 METAL GAZEBO THAT WILL PROVIDE SHELTER FROM THE RAIN.

Centrally located between the I5 and 512 off Waller Road and Canyon Road. Beautiful landscaped park like setting with an indoor arena suitable for small to medium sized dogs to play. The arena opens up to the fully fenced 1/4 acre grass dog playpen. The South facing gate in the dog pen opens up to the backwoods area. When the weather is hot outside the wooded area provides a cool shaded area for your dogs to romp and sniff.

We have just under a half acre fenced back yard. We have a large 2 level deck that you can relax on while watching your dogs run and play. We now how have an awesome covered deck, that is perfect for Winter! We have lots of balls in the back yard that you are welcome to kick or throw for your dog to chase. We have a water bowl out with fresh water in it. There are puppy poop bags tied to a stake right by the water bowl. Many dogs love to run through our middle garden and jump off to the lower level. We are absolutely fine with that, it makes for an awesome obstacle course.

great neighborhood on dead end road lots of wild animals come around, deer, squirrels, pheasant,, grouse, sheep are nearby in eyesight.

***New added information at the bottom*** Yard rental for dogs (and people!) to exercise, play, and sniff to their hearts content! Yard can also be rented by dog/animal trainers for a set fee instead of price per dog. Inquire if you’d like more information. Fully fenced backyard. Grass is somewhat long in some of the pictures, but it will be mowed prior to your visit. There is a rock pile for any agile dog that likes to climb. We also have a large galvanized metal troth that can be filled with water if your dog likes to play in water, we would just need at least 3/4 hours advanced notice so we have enough time fill it for you, it is pictured. The covered structure in the middle of the yard has camping chairs next to it and a picnic table you can use. There’s a power strip between two of the cozy chairs on the covered porch, or one by the hot tub. We just ask that you please limit it to no more than 2 devices plugged in. We can provide an electric heater to be used on the porch or by hot tub area if needed, just be sure to add that extra to your booking. There are plenty of scent trails to be followed as we often have small wildlife coming through the yard. Rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, and plenty of birds that our dog still tries to catch even though she doesn’t stand a chance 😂 It is a fairly private back yard, so it is quite relaxing aside from the occasional loud barking of our neighbor dogs. We have an American bulldog/brittany spaniel mix, but she will be kept inside with us during your visit. You may hear her loud mouth from time to time, she sometimes fusses when other dogs are using her yard and she can’t join them 😀…There is plenty of parking, you can even open the gate and pull your vehicle into the carport area if you would like. We can possibly dog-sit for a fee so long as your dog is kind and comfortable with us. Cost could be discussed. We live at the end of a gravel road so even though it feels very distant, we’re close to the main roads that go through Graham/Puyallup or Orting. Only about 5-7 minutes from the Fred Meyer located on Meridian and 176th in Puyallup. There is a large white wooden gate that is open leading into the property. Pull in and to the right, park in front of the tall garage and access the backyard through the large metal cattle gate between the garage and house. Lift it up and opening outwardly. It may be blocked from opening by a cinder block on the ground, so you can just move that out of the way. We only put it there because our girl is an escape artist and figured out how to hit it with her nose enough times to pop it open. The little turd, she’s a strong one! We will be adding a toy bin in the near future, for now you may find a stray ball or two in the yard. Our dog is a heavy chewer, so toys don’t last long around here unfortunately. If you have any specific toy requests, feel free to let us know, we do our best to please person and pups alike! If you would like to book at a different time than what is available, please contact me. I’m pretty flexible so I’m sure we can work something out. Inflatable hot tub is now up and running, so you can add an hour of soak time to your booking if you would like 🙂 We’re going to implement a monthly “yummy thank you” for our 4 and 8 hour per month membership holders, so I encourage our patrons to sign up for a membership! Each 4 and 8 hour membership holder can pick any meal that they’d like me to make for them once per month, and I’ll make enough for 2 servings(can fix larger servings at an additional cost of $3 per person depending on desired meal.) I’m quite the maestro in the kitchen, so I promise you won’t regret it! The 8 hour monthly membership will also include a custom mocktail to go with your meal(We can always spike it with whatever liquor you bring along.) And a special treat for your pup! We can easily accommodate allergies/food aversions. All memberships come with other occasional perks/gifts as well. Thanks so much for your patronage! Have a great day!

We have two fully fenced areas (front and back of the house) as well as an unfenced, wooded area on the corner (with a walking path). Lots of running space! There are usually a few chairs out there so make yourself comfortable. There's shade and shelter from rain. Only one neighbor (no houses in front or back of ours) and not on a busy street. We have one dog who will remain inside during visits. We also have friendly chickens who are fully enclosed outside the fenced yard - and they don't spook easily (our dog interacts with them frequently). We work from home full-time but both yards are accessible from the outside and available whenever.

It’s a very quiet neighborhood and you may see our neighbors outside in their yards but they won’t disturb you. I also have housemates that you may see on occasion in the front yard but they also won’t be a disruption to your visit. There is a covered area with a table/chairs to keep you out of the rain or sun while still being able to watch your dog in the yard. My husband and I are dog and animal lovers. We want to provide people who are in similar situations to us a few years ago (before we purchased our home) a place for their puppers to run free.
