We offer seating on our deck under the shade of two umbrellas as well as Adirondack chairs in the shade of one of our giant trees. 🌳🌳🌳 We also have a playset with swings for your kids to enjoy. There will be poop bags, dog toys 🎾 and water available as well as a waste bin next to the gate for your trash. 🚙 Parking: Please park on the street near the tree in in our front yard, or up the road by the mailboxes. 🚪Entrance: You may enter the backyard through the gate on the right side when facing the house. You may need to lift the handle slightly and then push hard for gate to latch. The gate is a little janky! If you require any accommodations, please let us know ahead of your visit. Kiddie pool will be unavailable starting September 2nd. When you arrive, you can enter through the side gate to the left of the house behind the tree. Please make sure your dog is up to date on their vaccines (rabies, parvo, distemper, etc) to maintain a healthy & safe environment for all the dogs (including my own + our occasional foster dog). The surface is a packed sandy soil during the cold weather months and mowed natural vegetation during the warmer months. A walk around the interior fence line is about 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. My neighbor has loose chickens on his property. The chickens are bothered by dogs. Dogs may bark out of curiosity and that's totally appropriate and ok, but they soon realize that with no reaction there is no need to bark. NOTICE: I share a 300' fence with a neighbor to the west. The neighbor has a new dog that on random occasions has access to this shared fence line. I have installed privacy screening to minimize this distraction. IF YOUR DOG IS HIGHLY REACTIVE, PLEASE DO NOT RESERVE TIME AT MY SNIFFSPOT. Sniffin' Hours are: 9:00 -4:00 every day except for Tuesday, which is field maintenance day, and my dogs do get kind of jealous if they can't use their own dog park. I can make special arrangements for you through the chat if you need longer than one hour, though for most dogs one hour is more than sufficient.
