I have a reactive dog myself, so I understand the need for quiet, spacious areas to have fun and get your dog some exercise! Help yourself to dog treats, sunscreen, or drinks from the tiki fridge (Just choose as an extra in the app! :) Remember to choose the pool as an extra if you’d like to use it, pool toys and floating vests available!

The Back 40

When you book "The Back 40" you have access to the original, smaller, The Mannerly Dog Sniffspot, so no one will be using it while you're here! You'll still have your own private dog park, just a bigger one. You will not see us or our dogs. One neighbor has chickens - they are catty-corner to The Back 40, in the rear. They are in a pen and may cluck or crow at times. the yard catty-corner on the other side occasionally has a couple of dogs in it, but it's pretty rare - it could happen though. You might see or hear humans on the other side of the wooden fence that runs the full 300 feet along the side of both Sniffspots. Otherwise, the area is serene and quiet with plenty of squirrels and birds. Sit and rest or play with your dog - either way, we hope you enjoy your visit!

Welcome to our Sniffspot! We have almost 2 acres with a large pond! We are a 3-dog family a Great Dane (8), American Pit Bull Terrier (16), and dachshund (1), so we understand the importance of having a fun, safe place for pups to get their energy out! Your pets will not be meeting ours. Our dogs enjoy their own little pack and will remain separate from visiting dogs. Our home also borders neighboring homes with other visible dogs. One of them shares a fence with us, although they are not always outside. There are also goats, chickens, and ducks on the property behind a chain-link fence. Staying on the side of the yard with the pond will keep your dogs away from the livestock. One has the large pond and trees, while the other side is mostly grass. They are separated by a fence and gate, so you’re welcome to use either section or both! The pond is open to dogs only—no humans swimming, please. It is a natural pond with fish and has a steep drop on all sides except for one. The side closest to the gate has a gradual ledge that leads to a large, deep drop-off, so please keep an eye on dogs who are unfamiliar with swimming or ponds. The entire property is fenced with 2" x 4" rectangular wire mesh fencing that is approximately 4 feet tall. If your dog is a digger or jumper, please be vigilant and keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t try to escape. There are also a couple of piles of mostly wooden debris on the property that we are currently working on removing. Please be mindful of these areas while your dogs are exploring. Private driveway inside the fence. Water bowls and chairs will be available for you to use. There is no bathroom available for humans, so please plan accordingly. And, of course, please pick up after your dogs! We want you and your pups to have a fun time here, so please feel free to ask any questions before or during your visit. Hi! Welcome to our backyard! We have a large fenced in backyard we’d love to share with you! We have two small yorkies, but rest assured, they will be kept inside during your visit, and the backyard will be exclusively for you. We have plenty of seating options including rocking chairs and benches. We also have a small table and a cooler available for use. On our deck, enjoy our large oscillating fan and shaded area. We also have an electrical outlet and wi-fi is included. For the doggos we have a kiddie pool, water hose, toys, water bowl, towels, and poop bags. For those sunny days, feel free to add on extras like our misters or misting fan. We also offer snack and drink packages! We hope you’ll enjoy our backyard!

We have 40 wide open acres with a fully stocked pond. You are more than welcome to bring your rod and do some catch and release fishing. Dogs are very happy to swim and play fetch. We have three donkeys, one horse and duck and chickens on the property. The animals are all sweet. We want to keep them safe so no chicken eaters. Haha. Come and enjoy your day, have a picnic under the trees or take a leisurely walk. U can even come out and work your hunting or herd dogs. Hope to see you soon.
