We had a great time at this Sniffspot! It was super clean and organized with toys, water, bags and a secure fenced yard. The directions were clear, it was easy to park and in a good safe neighborhood. I recommend this Sniffspot.
We have been here a few times now. Always a great time!
Visiting deer on the adjacent property were a highlight, also a challenge for the fencing which my dog searched unsuccessfully for a way out. Certainly would be five stars for my many previous dogs, but this girl is extremely reactive and there is a gap to traverse between parking on the road and entry.
This was our first Sniffspot experience and we were happy with experience start to finish. My boy Bodie loved investigating and sniffing every inch of the large yard! 🐶 Alex clearly communicated directions, parking, and how to access the yard. A wonderful treat to see that water bowls and tennis balls among other things were provided. Overall a great experience, so happy to have this resource in our community! Thank you!
we had a wonderful time, we appreciate all the precautions they are taking at this time! their pups could be heard a small bit but only when my dog barked first, not seen at all
First time here and my dog had a blast :) she's a big girl and had plenty of room to zoom and catch balls! :)
Great spot close to home!!
The dogs had a wonderful time!
Great resource for the community. A bit over priced and lots of poops around but a nice in-town space.
Good space. Easy to access. There was a nice organized station for items available.

WEATHER ALERT: If you are checking the weather online check the Ferndale (98248) weather. The Bellingham weather stops at the Smith Road. My prevailing wind is from the South BUT I do get the cold NE wind from Canada. NOTE: This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dog's bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!
Timber Paws is a dog day camp service operating in and around the Bellingham, WA area. During non-operating hours our private and fully fenced-in dog park area is available for rent via Sniffspot. Take advantage of nearly 2 acres of natural, wooded terrain with plenty of space to run, chase, and fetch. The Pacific Northwest Trail, a through-hike trail hundreds of miles long, runs directly through our property via the gravel road and allows you to go on hikes of virtually unlimited duration. Please note that the standing propane heater is NOT for Sniffspot users. Please also keep out of the tiny house - guests are NOT permitted to enter. Any usage or tampering with the heater or tiny house will result in a loss of future booking privileges. Destruction of on-site toys will also result in a loss of future booking privileges if compensation is not provided.
15+ fully fenced grassy acres, including a pond. Acreage is divided into 3 areas, with gates open or closed to limit or expand running space. Higher areas are drier, puddles in the lower spots. Pastures are vacant through the winter months. Parking is along a private gravel dead-end road. There is a SniffSpot sign on the double green gate. There are occasional dog-walkers along the road, but otherwise the spot is private.

Fully fenced 20 acre space with a large front field and 10 acres of forest in the back with maintained trails throughout. Covered seating (in the field & woods), portapotty, yard hose on site, see 'amentities' for a full list of features. There are seasonal streams and ponds in the woods with foot bridges and woodchips to keep mud to a minimum walking the main trails. Plenty of high/dry areas in the field and woods but also low spots - expect puddles, mud holes, areas of standing water (and a wet/dirty dog), especially during/after rain. Appropriate outerwear, traction footwear (hiking/muck boots etc), towels recommended. Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance. Some days can fill fast but plans change & reservations get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by spot specific rules included in this listing. First time visitors get a customized auto-message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.
Off West Pole Road, there’s a little lane next to a DeWildes nursery field. Our front field has a hidden gate (see pictures!) that will let you into our fully fenced front field. The grass is field grass and a little more rough and uneven than a yard lawn, i.e. diggers welcome!!
