Just a nice place to meet up with friends and their dogs.
Fully enclosed beer garden with a good number of toys and lots of things to sniff! Daisy loved her time here.
Very nice spot! Lots of places to sit while the dogs enjoyed themselves.
Great spot, will be back!
This was so much fun for my doggies. We used to frequent it here during business hours, but my boys play rough sometimes and it freaks other dogs out...so it’s safer to just play privately! My dogs did good, but did bark at dogs passing by (there can be a bit of foot traffic) just something to keep in mind if your dog is barrier reactive. We will definitely be back!
Cornelius loved this place! Lots and lots to sniff and play with. If you have a more reactive dog, I'd recommend going as early as possible. We were there from 7:30-8:30. Only two people walked by the spot without dogs. The train did come through and lots of cars passed by, but Corny didn't care at all. He just wanted to play fetch!
I have a husky, and I was hoping she would zoom around like she usually does, but there are a lot of distractions with the train station and other people and dogs walking by so she didn't really open up. It may have been better with a pup friend to rough house with. I did like the care and thought put into the gate and fence coverage. And the multiple things to jump up on. I may try again with a friend. I do think the price is too high for the size. The cleanliness was good, but there were multiple piles of poo. They kind of expect others to help clean up if you see it, which I get and do sometimes, but I'm not going to pay to spend my time there picking up other dogs poo. I feel that it's the sniffspot owner's job to take care of it before the sniffspot renter gets there.
Easy and fun!
The best space for a chase fiend! I have a nervous young rescue who loooves dogs but can lack confidence in new spaces, so to build her up to go to Paws one day I'm playing with her in the yard and desensitizing her to the noises of the port, train, and bus station. Very clean, tons of room to run with fun obstacles that are great opportunities for confidence building. Barrier reactive dogs should avoid, we had folks and dogs walk by often which was good distracted recall practice for us. Had a few folks say hello and a package delivered while we were there, which was another good training opportunity for us but might be too much for some nervous dogs. We'll be back!
Super fun!
Host replied: Hi Kaylie, thanks for this feedback! As our sniffspot becomes more popular I can see this becoming a problem. We'll put together a sign that can hang on the gate that explains the private booking. Regards, Rylan
