Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too. This space offers a private 2-acre open field and a fully fenced in 5,000 sqft. area that is peaceful and spacious. We feature a 6-foot solid wooden privacy fence enclosing a spacious, nearly quarter-acre grass yard—perfect for reactive, anxious, or high-energy dogs who need room to sprint without outside distractions. Human guests can relax comfortably under our shaded gazebo while dogs explore. We provide everything you need for a perfect visit, including fresh water, clean toys, and a fully stocked waste station (pooper scooper, bags, and dedicated trash bin). Come enjoy a completely private, safe playdate!" We would be honored to share our yard with you and your furry friend. We recently lost our Dog, Bailey Boots who loved to sunbathe and was an anxious reactive dog so this was her safe space. We hope this is the same for you and yours. Note: There are neighbor dogs who go out 2x a day for no longer than 10 min to the right side of our yard. We have 2 indoor cats but they can’t be seen if you are in the yard.

If your pup poops well into the woods you can leave it :) ⸻ Open year-round, this private 5+ acre Sniffspot offers plenty of room to roam, explore, and swim on a beautiful peninsula extending into Balch Lake. Park at the top of the hill and enjoy a scenic walk down, giving your pup a true “Sniffari” experience along the way. At the end, you’ll be rewarded with peaceful lake views and a perfect spot for your dog to splash, swim, and play. Prefer not to walk? You’re welcome to drive directly down to the lake access area. This property is unfenced but very private, with the peninsula providing a natural barrier and minimal outside traffic. Please note: • The access road is sand and gravel. Sturdy footwear is recommended if walking. • Recent rain can create some ruts, and the road is due for grading. • SUVs and trucks are recommended for driving down the hill. • Sedans can typically make it down as well (ours does!), but please use your best judgment based on road conditions. • Balch Lake is a shared lake, and you may see boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and dogs accompanying boaters on the water. • Sound can carry across the lake, making people or dogs seem closer than they actually are. • As with any unfenced property, please ensure your dog has reliable recall or keep them leashed based on your comfort level and your dog’s abilities. The front of the yard features a 6-foot privacy fence, while the rest is enclosed with a combination of 6-foot wood, chain link, and heavy-duty wire fencing. It’s fully secure and suitable for both large and small dogs. Your pup will love exploring the variety of scents left behind by local wildlife—birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and the occasional raccoon or fox make for an exciting visit! I have a .5 acre lot, completely fenced in with a 6 ft high chain link fence. My yard provides, a (orange hose) for water or to fill dog pool, seating, treats, poop bags / scoopers with trash can, dog beds, small play area available inside the fenced in area and more! It is a very private area, especially during the day! *I do have two dogs of my own and a large yard, I try my best to keep it as clean as possible. *Please keep off the deck unless you need shelter from rain
