Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too. (Please note, the trampoline seen in the pictures has been removed). There is a water bowl and some poop bags on the cement slab in the backyard (please dispose of the full poop bags in the trash bin at the front of the house), 3 balls also available to play with. There is also a water hose available. If the dog water bowl has no water in it, you are welcome to use the hose to fill it! To get to the backyard, enter through the fence to the right of the garage/house. *Please note: We will remain open during the winter, use at your discretion because there will be snow out there at times. Loony's Rainy-Day Get-Away Sniff-SPoT!

I made this Sniff Spot realizing the demand for an indoor space for dogs to play on rainy days and the long winter months! The space is in our indoor basement and personally with my own dog I always take her down there to play when the weather is poor, rainy, cold, or later in the evening when it gets too dark outside but the pup still wants to play~! Seeing how much my own dog Soluna, aka "Loony" enjoys it, Im now opening up "Loony's Rainy Day Getaway" to other local pups who need a warm, dry and cozy place to play. This is a GREAT spot for the upcoming long winter months! The space is a good size basement, (unfinished but heated and well insulated) We keep a handful of our own dog toys down there to share and pup-parents are free to also bring their own carry in and carry out. There are chairs for people to sit and watch their pups play There is also a water line that can be used to fill water bowls. *This is an indoor park so please potty your dogs outside before coming in. There is also pretty easy access back up to outside if they need to go in the middle of playing you can bring them back out to relieve themselves and then return. *You are free to use the outside yard at your leisure if you wish, just be mindful that it is NOT fenced *We do still use our basement area for storage in some areas so we ask that you and your dogs respect the storage items on shelves etc. Do not touch and call your dog away if THEY go to touch. (For their own safety as well) *For your pups safety, Please make sure your dogs are vaccinated when using spaces that may have been previously inhabited by other dogs.

These yards are natural, doggy daycare yards with uneven ground kept free from waste and safe for pups to play. They are not available during business hours and are not lit for nighttime use.

Large Fenced in Yard with Some Woods to Explore

Update 1/28/26: The spigot does not work. Please bring water for your dogs. I still have not fixed the fence. See below for more info. Update 12/8/24: A tree branch fell on my fence, knocking it down. The tree branch has been removed and the fence lifted back up but it is not secure. Please check the fence before unleashing your dog to ensure it is still up and they won't be able to get out. Most dogs probably won't even notice but if you have dogs that intentionally look for ways out, my spot won't be the best match until I get it fixed. Message me if you would like pictures prior to booking. Update 6/12/23: While I love the tree by the mailbox, I recognize it makes backing out of my driveway very difficult. Feel free to back into the drive so that your line of sight isn't blocked when trying to leave. Update 4/11/23: There are times that I block off my yard for the whole day to ensure that I don't have back-to-back visits and that there is time for the dogs I am dog sitting to run around. I don't need all this time so feel free to message me if you would like to visit on that particular day and I can unblock a slot for you to book. General Information I have a large fenced in yard. It is chain link and 6ft tall. It is reinforced at the bottom. There is a woodsy area in the yard for dogs to explore as well. Lots of room to run! You may notice your dog spends most of his/her time sniffing around instead of running. This is typical for the first visit: 1. It is a new space for them and they get a lot of information through their nose 2. Lots of dogs have been in my yard so there is so much to smell. This is still great enrichment and will lead to a tired and fulfilled dog. Please bring your own dog toys, water, and water bowl. If your dog poops (even if in the woods), can you please pick it up? I have a dog that likes to eat poop - so gross! You may notice that sometimes my deck is gated off. I do this so that the visiting dogs aren't distracted by the sliding door, standing in front of it thinking they are there to come into the house instead of playing in the yard. You are more than welcome to take one of them down if you want to sit up on the deck. If I forget to put the gate up and you want to block your dog from coming up on the deck, feel free to put it on the stairs to block the entryway. Other things worth mentioning: - My neighbor to the right of me has ducks. They are typically quiet but visible. - Depending on the weather and time of the year, parts of the yard may be icy and/or muddy! Bring towels to wipe down your dog afterwards. If you visit early spring, you may see ground bees flying around on the south facing side of the house. By late April, you won't even know they are there. They are very docile (in fact most species don't have stingers) and are great pollinators. - I also dog sit out of my home. Some dogs that I watch are vocal and may bark the whole time you are visiting. If your booking time is during a time that I am home, I can ensure that they are kept quiet and don’t interfere with your visit. If hearing barking coming from my house is something that will impact your visit, feel free to reach out to me beforehand to confirm whether or not I am dog sitting and/or will be home. Puppy Play Pelham

Welcome to our yard: our dog’s favorite place! Fully fenced in from house to property line property line; also “double-fenced” where the woods begin to keep dogs on the grass. Property is protected from ticks and mosquitos with regular (pet safe) spray treatments. Please park along the street and walk up the driveway to the white fence, reach over to unlatch the gate and step in onto the patio. Your dog may play anywhere in the yard or on the patio. Please do not go behind the chicken wire fencing or sheds. You are welcome to use any of our tennis balls, “chuck-its” and dog toys while using the yard; we leave them on the patio table. Feel free to take a seat under the umbrella for some shade. If the little doggie “kiddie” pool is set up, you may use it, but absolutely NO people OR dogs allowed in the above-ground pool. We also ask that you please stay off the deck. You may dispose of any poop bags in the tin milk can under the deck. Please close the gate behind you when you leave. We hope you and your dog have tons of fun in our yard!

Access to the pool is blocked by a gate on the deck stairs. - After a lot of rain we sometimes get muddy puddles. - The yard has grass, flowers, woods, a kiddie pool, access to a hose, water bowl, dog toys, a place for pet parents to sit and relax while the doggos play. - Its probably a bit more than a 1/2 acre fenced with grass and a wooded trail. There will almost always be someone home during any visit as I work from home. We have dogs and I will lock them inside the house while we have visitors. Rules: 1. We would appreciate a 24 hour notice for all reservation changes or cancellations. 2. If you have more than 2 cars attending at the same time, please park at North Broadway Crossing. 3. Only one booking is in the yard at a time. 4. Due to the pool, no person under 18 is allowed on the property without adult supervision. 5. It is crucial that you arrive during and only stay for the time booked because another family may be booked directly after you or I could have my dogs in the yard if you are there outside of your booked time and I wouldn't want an unexpected encounter.
