Amazing!!
a great time! we walked around in the field and Atlas played with the dogs in the property and got to look at all the farm animals as well. It was super fun but definitely not for dogs who run away or arent friendly :)
My pups enjoyed it tall growth and lower growth areas my wife felt there could have been a bit more signage giving direction
This spot is fantastic and so beautiful! I will say there are livestock present so if you have a super reactive pup avoid that area (which is super easy because it’s such a large space!). There were other dogs loose as well but the owner will put them up no problem when you arrive! My dog loved playing with one of the dogs after I let her know he is dog friendly and would love a play buddy. Overall this space was so fantastic for my guy to explore and it’s so worth the drive from Denver! We will be back soon!!
It was really awesome seeing the animals and working on desensitization with my pup, I would say just be prepared that there’s not much of a fenced in play area for dogs (a small pen that is used to house goats sometimes is out there but it does have goat poop and your dog very well might eat that, it’s also not big enough to get all the zoomies out) but the open area that’s not fenced is HUGE as long as your dog has great recall. Wouldn’t trust a dog without recall to run off leash. There was a dog out there the entire time we were there and a second showed up that kind of forced us out because we weren’t sure if she was relaxed or not-and we expected all dogs to be locked up for our hour as the description states. It’s a great area though I would definitely just say it doesn’t fit the description exactly and might be risky for reactive dogs. One of the residents (I think it was the owner) came out and talked to us which is totally fine with me but might also be risky for reactive pups! All in all I had a good experience because I had my two non reactive dogs with me, but if I had my reactive dog I probably would’ve been pretty overwhelmed.
We had a great time at Tuff’s Ranch! If your dog is dog-aggressive or reactive, please know that there were many other dogs on the property! My dog had a great time playing with Willow :-) My dog liked seeing the different farm animals! We plan on being back
AMAZING!!! This is THE best Sniffspot we have been to. The owners are GREAT and our dogs had a blast. They have all different kind of livestock but the dogs a free to go wherever. This has become our new favorite. Directions are wrong on google. If headed east on Quincy turn right at blinking light. 100% recommend.
Great space! They have a nice dog run and farm animals all around in their own enclosures. We let Willow (dog) come in and play with our pup. The farm manager was very nice and helpful. We had trouble finding it because Google maps wasn't accurate. Anyone going there make sure to turn right at the blinking stop light and then it is on the right hand side.
