55Would be more likely to bring my water lover next time as opposed to the one who needs to run and lose some weight, but was still a nice place to go! I’d like to try another visit when the water levels haven’t been so high so that the grass is a little lower 🙂
55We absolutely loved coming here! It is beautiful! Our dog is a water bug so she just wanted to stay in the water the whole time but there is plenty of land to roam and walk! Definitely will be coming back!
55Second time here and he loved every minute! Between the swimming, running, sniffing and exploring, he was worn out. Thank for the great Sniffspot !
55Huge, secluded location with open areas, paths, brush, log piles, creek, etc. So many things to get into, sniff and climb on for an adventurous pup. Awesome communication from the host and very clear instructions to find the spot. Will most definitely be back !
55Excellent spot for active dogs looking to run, sniff, and swim!
55It was awesome! The dogs loved it so so much. You WILL get wet crossing the stream so dress accordingly. When you cross the stream, head up the tree roots (kinda like a wonky steep staircase) to get to the rest of the trail. There’s a picnic table up there too. Overall, so much fun. Both my girls loved being off leash and able to have free roam of the place. My Pittie loved “swimming” in the creek and my mini Aussie just ran and ran and ran. So awesome. Can’t wait to come back!
55We had a great time! It was our dog’s first visit to water and she loved it. A fun little island to explore with plenty of mowed paths. The creek was easy to walk across, but it’s definitely not a spot for anyone with mobility issues. But I think that is pretty clear in the description. We will definitely be back!
55WHAT a fantastic spot! This has quickly become one of our favorite places for quality time with our dogs. My husband and I enjoy our time here as much as our pups do! Tim has been an amazing host who truly cares about the experience of his guests.
55Thanks for another wonderful visit! Presley had a blast.
55We had a great time! It was so great for the dog to be able to run free! My husband floated in a little swimming hole. Beautiful spot to just relax and be in nature.

Greene Lake Acres Private Dog Park In Stephens City

Welcome to Greek Lake Acres! We are located in Stephens City and we have 23 acres in total. About 5 acres are open grassy fields with an acre sized pond for swimming in the middle, surrounded by wooded complete with a few trails. Feel free to message me after booking for directions- GPS can sometimes try to take you through Lake Fredrick and you can NOT get to us from there. The lake is "swim at your own risk" as we do not have a life guard on duty. The water edge slopes so you can come out with ease. There is NO FISHING permitted in the pond. Again, there is no lifeguard on duty, dogs swim at the responsibility/risk of their owner Picnic tables are available near the waters edge and also in the trees next to the pond for shade. On the picnic table we have some floating toys for retrieving and also some sanitary bags if you need any. We are pesticide and fertilizer free, so please make sure you have tick/flea preventative because ticks love the woods! We are not fenced in, so recall is very important. The neighbors do have dogs, some wander so friendliness is important. We have chickens to live in their coop, who will remain safe in their coop during your visit. The property does have an abundance of wild life, including but not limited to deer, turkey, geese, ducks, squirrels and fox, but they do not stay around humans or dogs. There is a hose to wash off and drink from. (On the house next to the camper) Parking is on the lake side driveway near the green sign (see photos) Please note we are often outside enjoying our property as well. If you look at the photos, we typically stay in the “red X” area. If we have guests, our dogs are secured in the house. We can’t wait to see you!
