The pasture was originally used for goats so there are lots of interesting smells. Picnic table and outdoor furniture for humans or dogs underneath shade trees. Climbing structure. Facebook video for property description! https://www.facebook.com/reel/857593750109937 This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

The Long and Short of it Park

We have a large backyard that is fully fenced. Most of the fence is six foot or taller privacy fence, with four foot fencing along the driveway. There is plenty of space for dogs to run and play plus shade and outdoor seating if you want to take a break. There is water outside too. Please pick up after your dogs and just drop any waste in the small trash can by the back of the garage. There is space under the storage shed where smaller dogs can go underneath. It’s fine there’s nothing under there but some leaves and such and we will close that area off soon. Come enjoy the backyard! We are sure our dogs look forward to all the new smells from visitors too!
