55Our second visit and Belle took advantage of all there was to explore including the river, little critters seen only to her hiding in the many bushes and foliage. Nose to the ground she sniffed and ran through the field of soft mown grass until she ran out of gas. She says “Heaven on Earth” as do we! 5 stars!

Description

Welcome to Fallen Oak Farm. A small permaculture style food forest sitting on the Etowah River. We have 6 acres total. 3 acres are fully fenced in to protect our garden. The unfenced area also has wide open spaces, In addition to a path in the woods that runs along the river. Large open areas for sunning or throwing your pup’s favorite toy.

HOST NOTE

This is a working farm. Farm tools, equipment, and materials on sight. We have lots of wildlife on the farm. Seeing Deer, groundhogs, mice, and snakes is common. If you plan to use the UN-fenced portion of the property, which includes the river, this can also be hazardous. During normal flow, our section of river is around ankle to knee deep. During/after large storms in can grow significantly and is not recommended. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water
