Description

Welcome to Fallen Oak Farm. A small permaculture style food forest sitting on the Etowah River. We have 6 acres total. 3 acres are fully fenced in to protect our garden. The unfenced area also has wide open spaces, In addition to a path in the woods that runs along the river. Large open areas for sunning or throwing your pup’s favorite toy.

Hazards

This is a working farm. Farm tools, equipment, and materials on sight. We have lots of wildlife on the farm. Seeing Deer, groundhogs, mice, and snakes is common. If you plan to use the UN-fenced portion of the property, which includes the river, this can also be hazardous. During normal flow, our section of river is around ankle to knee deep. During/after large storms in can grow significantly and is not recommended. We're are an active farm, growing food for these in need. Any damage caused to fruit trees/plants and veggie garden will result in being banned.

Community safety rules

	Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the spot.
	Make sure the area is safe and secure before bringing your dog in.
	Never enter a spot before your booking start time and never leave late.
	Pick up after your dogs. Leave the spot as it was when you arrived.
	Always review and abide by spot specific rules.
	Unless otherwise stated, restrooms are not available on site.

What a great spot! We stayed in the fenced area for the first visit, but there's a river trail too. We will definitely be back again. Chris is a great host and showed us around before we settled in. My doggo loved the little trails between the patches, We kinda played hide and seek. I think I'm as worn out as he is!

Chris was a great host. My dogs had so much fun sniffing around. We used the fenced in portion so I could let my little guy off leash. Will have to check out the creek side next time. I was very happy, as were my pups with this Sniffspot.

My dog loves this sniffspot! It has plenty of fenced in space for him to run around and get his zoomies out. There’s also a little “maze” area where we can play hide and seek and he loves it. This is a great place for college students to take their dogs if they are cooped up in the apartment/dorm. Thank you Chris!

This sniffspot was wonderful! Chris was very kind and accommodating. He offered us water and showed us around the property when we arrived. The fenced area was well secured and plenty of space to run around. The river just across the way was unfenced but offered a great place to swim and cool off after running around. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area!

This was my first visit to a Sniffspot. I learned a lot about how to better prepare for my visits. I loved this place, out off the main roads. The host was extremely nice and helpful. This place will eventually get 5 stars from me. The only problem was the quail pen. My dogs would not leave it alone. One is a terrier and she would not leave that pen I put their leashes on and walked them away from it. It is a fenced 3 acre place. Plenty of room to run if they are not glued to the quail pen. A few other things I would like are a trash can and a water bowl for the dogs. I will go back to this spot. Even with my 3 small white dogs. I recommend you give it a try. It is out in the country away from all traffic, safe and friendly. I was too busy to take photos so I added photos of my 3 dogs I took.

We absolutely loved this Sniffspot! Chris was so kind and his land had plenty of room for my doggos to run, play and explore. It was beautiful and such a nice quiet spot to listen to nature. 10 out of 10!

Chris’ Sniffspot mail as fantastic. Easy to access and plenty of space to let the pups run around and explore. Our pups especially loved the stream access and playing in the bank. Definitely recommend and will be back! ☺️
