Loved it!! Lots of trails and water features. Plenty of room to run!
We had a blast! Our 3 pups were so happy to run and enjoy the amazing trails and even the water spots! What a gorgeous property, we will definitely be back.
My dog is an abused rescue border collie working on becoming confident around other dogs and people. Meracle Acres offered us a place for him to run on a long line and enjoy the woods, smells, and nature without any worries. We both had a fantastic time. The host's directions and communication were very helpful! We will be back again and again! Thank you so much.
Gorgeous property, clearly marked trails, lots to sniff, Mojo & Rex can't wait to get back.
Meracle Acres is our favorite spot! It is completely worth a drive from Madison. On this last visit, I had a chance to use some of the down trees as obstacles to train on going over, under, and around. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with all the pups!
Wonderful spot. Our dog had a blast!
Easy to find, beautiful trails. Far from the road, cars, and people. Zero concerns of our herder getting sidetracked and dashing after something. Very relaxing. A little post-hike work to get out some prickly plants from the dogs coat, but he's a long haired pup that refuses to stay on trail :)
Loves this spot! Always quiet and always so much fun for the pups. They have such a good time. Worth the drive!
This spot is really a gift. It was beautiful and peaceful, we will definitely be back.
Great trails as usual! There were a tonnnnn of geese in the neighboring field

My name is Kaycee Meracle and I am an animal lover. We own 50 acres of beautiful woods with ponds entwining through out. I would love to let you and your furchild roam around and get some exercise. If you would like a playmate we have 2 very sociable Newfoundlands that would love to show you around. If not that's fine too. Enjoy your peaceful walk with your furchild alone. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you and have fun! Cheers, Kaycee
My Sniffspot is just south of I-94 and across from Lower Nemahbin Lake access. You will see a foster care sign at the end of the driveway. The address is 1635 North Sawyer Road. It is well-marked. We do have beehives (located near the barn), fenced ducks & chickens (not visible from the field), and barn cats that wander the area. One rooster free ranges but he and none of the other animals will approach you or your dogs. You may also see deer or wild turkeys. Because we want all of these animals, including your dogs to be safe, please keep dogs on leash when outside the field and be in control of them at all times. The private dog park has 3 agility jumps, 1 short tunnel, and miniature weave poles. Feel free to adjust any of the jumps to fit your dog(s)' jump height. You can also create your own agility course! The park provides a cot, three chairs, some toys, and 2 throwing sticks. The Toys are located on top of a purple bin and there are more toys inside of the bin you can take out! A hose/sprinkler is provided in the summer! More agility equipment will be added in the spring/summer. There is plenty of space to let your furry friend run free! Please note: I am a high school student and my parents are letting me maintain the Sniffspot to earn money. Therefore, I may not be able to respond to messages right away if I am in class, but I will try my best!
Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer primarily range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours
Walking trails in the woods and open fields. Sand outdoor arena. Access to barn aisle and indoor arena for inclement weather. Horses on property. Wild turkeys and deer are often encountered. We have 4 dogs that will be in the house during your reserved time.
We have mowed trails and a river to jump in on a hot day! We have an upper field and a long dirt road to run down. We do have three dogs of our own who are all very nice. If your dog is aggressive we would need to know before hand. Please see photo for a glance at our marked trails. :)
I have a reactive dog and know all too well the challenges that come with having a reactive dog. I recently fenced in my backyard to better accommodate her and decided to share it with other dogs who could use a place to freely run off leash. My backyard is a fully fenced in, ~0.25 acre backyard located in Greenfield near New Berlin, West Allis, and Hales Corner. A garden hose and kiddie pool will be provided for your dog’s enjoyment during the warmer months. Seating is provided year round and the yard is well lit for better visibility during the fall/winter evenings. I hope you and your dog(s) can enjoy our backyard as much as we do.
2+ acres of fully fenced (5 ft) small wooded paths (larger unfenced hiking space available in extras) and a large grass area to run. The fence is partially chain link and partially wire pulled between wood posts. The terrain is a mix of grass and wooded areas with small walking paths through the woods. A basket of various dog toys will be available along with a seating area, treats, and water for both you and your dog! Swing set available for kids to use, at your own risk and under your own supervision, while their pet runs around, however; the trampoline is strictly off-limits. Check out our extras that you may add, including premium dog treats from Mountain Dog Cookie Co, a kiddie pool for your dog in the summer months, additional unfenced space for your dog to explore their primal instincts (perfect for sporting dogs!), and the ability to add extra dogs to your reservations. Canine Respiratory Illness, what are we doing about it? We've taken a few extra precautions to keep our visitors safe. In our welcome basket, you'll find disposable bowls with a water jug that you may use to fill up the bowl for your dog. Please dispose of your bowl in the garbage can next to the patio door. Additionally, toys in the basket will also be wiped down at least once per day with a pet-safe disinfectant. **The host is not responsible for any harm caused to you, your children, or your pets while using the swing set.**
The spot is a fenced horse pasture. (Horses will be locked near barn during your visit) the front pasture has woven wire fencing, and a second pasture has electric tape fencing (unplugged for your visit) you have access to both fields.
14 acres of well kept trails, pines, hardwood, grassland on a beautiful rolling terrain. Great for field trails, walks, bird watching, or just getting out and enjoying the scenery! Trail intersections and corners are marked with red flags to help first timers find their way around. Use code Spring5 for $5 off your first time!
Our hiking trails are located next to our home however you will not hear or see people on the trails that are accessible to you. PLEASE NOTE: Our trails are adjacent to public hunting land. Please be aware and use caution that you *may* hear gunshots during the fall months of hunting season! 28 acres of hiking trails to explore with your pup(s)! These trails are groomed and offer a workout for you and your dog. They are set back in the woods and are wonderful for photo opportunities! Some hills are VERY STEEP so please use caution and dress appropriately for hiking. Please park along left side tree line in grass. Trail access starts right there!
