Treat your dog to a one-of-a-kind Splashpad experience at Playful Pups Retreat. This clean, professionally maintained space is designed specifically for dogs to enjoy safe water play, cooling off, and enrichment in a private setting. Guests also have access to a large grass yard for additional running and exploration. The Splashpad Sniffspot yard at our Hershey Road location is available on Saturdays and Sundays only, offering a quiet, self-service environment while our facility is closed. Please note that this is a dog-only Splashpad. For safety reasons, children are not permitted to run or play on the Splashpad. While most visits are quiet and private, we do offer dog training classes onsite on some weekends. Guests may see people or dogs arriving, though they use a separate entrance. This is important to consider for dogs who may be reactive. This is a self-service experience, as staff are not typically onsite during weekend rentals. Clear operating instructions are provided to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. Oakley, our huge and dog-friendly Great Pyrenees, rules the roost here! We have a full fenced large second backyard ready for dog paws to rip around in. There are trees that offer shade and homes for birds and squirrels. Our chickens are free range but can be put inside their coop and our 4 cats are agile at escaping the chase of their fur covered foes. We are excited to offer our 5 acre pavillion area for others to enjoy! During warmer seasons our pavillion will be included for shade and comfort while watching your animals roam around freely! We just ask dog messes to be cleaned up after play! Parking is available for many vehicles. Then walk over bridge to pavilion to play!

I live on a farm tucked back from the road. I have a shaded back yard of about 1.5 acres that’s fenced in. I provide baggies to clean up poopy and a chair to sit in. It’s not the best looking place but it’s definitely a nice place to bring your pup and just let loose!
