Playful Pups Retreat – Hershey Road Dog Splashpad A private, dog-only water play experience designed for safe, enriching fun. Treat your dog to a one-of-a-kind Splashpad experience at Playful Pups Retreat. This clean, professionally maintained space is designed specifically for dogs to enjoy safe water play, cooling off, and enrichment in a private setting. Guests also have access to a large grass yard for additional running and exploration. The Splashpad Sniffspot yard at our Hershey Road location is available on Saturdays and Sundays only, offering a quiet, self-service environment while our facility is closed. Please note that this is a dog-only Splashpad. For safety reasons, children are not permitted to run or play on the Splashpad. While most visits are quiet and private, we do offer dog training classes onsite on some weekends. Guests may see people or dogs arriving, though they use a separate entrance. This is important to consider for dogs who may be reactive. This is a self-service experience, as staff are not typically onsite during weekend rentals. Clear operating instructions are provided to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. We take great pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed environment and appreciate your partnership in caring for the space during your visit. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG. HOST NOTE

The main gate that enters the yard that leads to the splashpad has a gap underneath it that a small dog could fit under! PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS IF YOU HAVE A SMALL DOG. The front grass yard does get wet from the splashpad water that drains into this area. Please be aware of this if you allow your dog to play in the grass yard.

General Use: ~We are located along a very busy road -PLEASE keep your dog leashed until inside the fenced areas. ~Dog use only – no children on the Splashpad ~Weekend availability only (Saturday & Sunday) ~Self-service experience (no staff onsite) Other Dogs / Activity Awareness: ~Occasional training classes may occur onsite ~Separate entrance is used, but dogs/people may be seen nearby ~Not ideal for highly reactive dogs sensitive to nearby activity SPLASHPAD OPERATION: 1.Turn on both control dials behind the Tiki Bar 2.Press top of yellow bollard to activate water features NOTE: Water shuts off every 20 minutes (press bollard again to restart) Splash Pools & Water Access: ~Hose located front left of yard ~Water spigot inside front grass yard ~Follow gate instructions and posted signage ~ Lift Blue handle to turn on water for the hose Clean-Up Expectations: Pick up all dog waste (scooper or bags) Dispose in provided bucket or waste cans No toys provided – bring your own and take them home End of Visit: ~Turn off water by lowering blue handle on spigot ~Turn off Splashpad dials behind Tiki Bar ~Empty all pools (open cap to drain) ~Leave cap on edge or replace securely ~Remove all belongings and waste

Hi dog lover! My name is Laurie Yost and I own Playful Pups Retreat. We have two locations in Elizabthtown and are always looking for new ways to serve our clients and the dog lovers in our community. Our overnight boarding facility, located at 850 Milton Grove Rd, Elizabethtown, is situated in 19 beautiful acres. We have a large play yard at the one end of our property that is fully fenced with a wooden 6ft privacy fence that we are happy to now rent out to dog lovers who need a safe and secure area for their dog(s) to run, play and train.

Playful Pups Retreat SniffSpot Play Yard

Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE.
