I live on a farm tucked back from the road. I have a shaded back yard of about 1.5 acres that’s fenced in. I provide baggies to clean up poopy and a chair to sit in. It’s not the best looking place but it’s definitely a nice place to bring your pup and just let loose!

I have chickens that are separated from the space where the dogs have access to. But they will see them through the fence. I get about 10-11 eggs a day, some blue and brown! I have dozens and dozens of eggs! If you get a dozen, I will make sure to have the eggs at a spot that hat will be easily identified.

I am certified as an Animal Assisted Therapist/Trainer through Animal Behavior Institute and I have information if you are interested in training services I offer here at the farm. I utilize the extra space and fenced in areas to create different training environments that I can adjust according to your dogs personalized training plan. This is depending on the behavior change/adjustment you desire with your dog.ie. barking, off leash, recall, tricks/games, animal socialization, puppy foundations

Grooming/Hair cut30 credits

I have a grooming salon that is attached to my backyard where you would be visiting with your pup! It contains a very large bathing unit, a table For haircuts, and space for you to stay if You desire. There is an entrance way from the backyard and a second door that you can exit to your car when your pup is finished. I’ve been grooming dogs for 3 years and I love it!

If your pup has nails that you have trouble Cutting and you want to get them trimmed while here, I am confident in doing so. Some Dogs do require more patience and equipment to get the job done so they are a little bit more.

Farm animals are on the other side of the fence, so understand your dogs temperament when put across from another animal with a fence between them. The fence is secure and if you’ve never had them in that situation, I recommend t trying it. It’s an opportunity to work with your dogs ability to refocus when distracted.

My name is D and I own a 2.5 acre farmette and about 1.7 is fenced in completely. Through the fence you will meet some farm animals but the dogs will never come in contact. Socialization with different animals is very healthy for dogs. I recently became a dog trainer and I use my property to train dogs: one of the programs I offer is Farm Stay and Train where they are trained to bring their focus back to me when distracted by the animals and different sounds around the property. My farm is off the road back a long lane and is very secluded. There is plenty of space for your pup to run and play and i have balls and different throwing tools. I also provide benches and a yard swing. Feelfree to come and enjoy fenced in open land and spend some time with your pup/s. I can even bring my guys out for friends to play with if im available. Otherwise i wont bother you. My farm is not perfect and i am a single woman with the strength, motivation, and desire but sometimes i lack the resources needed to keep everything pristine. So if you’re laid back amd want to come check it out, please do! And if there is something that you suggest to make this a better place for dogs to come, id love positive feedback. I had snifspot before and a woman was very negative towards my property and it really discouraged me. Be friendly! And just enjoy a place for you and your pup! Thank you!

Lovely, fully fenced yard secured by a gate (which also has mesh wire). The fence has recently been repaired to address any gaps at the bottom of the fence, but as with any spot, owners must watch their dogs at all times. The height of the fence (4-5 ft depending on slope) is suitable for most small and medium dogs and even large dogs who aren't jumpers. If your dog is a jumper or an escape artist, you may need a place with a higher fence. Owners are responsible for picking up after their dog with provided bucket and scoop. We scoop daily or more and endeavor to keep the spot poop free for your visit, however, understand that we do allow last minute bookings and that it is possible that if you book with very little time before the reservation begins, we may not be able to get out to the yard to check for any feces before you arrive. No other dogs will be present in yard while yard is rented, however, the neighbors do have 2 dogs that are outside occasionally but not often.

Playful Pups Retreat SniffSpot Play Yard

We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property.
