Lisa’s private dog park is both large and secure. The fenced area is big and partially wooded which was fun for the dogs to explore. There was a fair amount of old poop so you definitely have to watch your step. A dog inside of the house was barking for a good portion of our visit. This is obviously no fault of Lisa’s, any dog would bark in that situation. However, if you have a dog who is anxious or dog-fearful they might have a hard time. Our sensitive dog got pretty stressed out and we had to leave early due to the barking.
The yard was a really nice size with lots of room to run and play. A little bit of a hill and varying ground textures made for fun training exercises and snuffling experiences. The fence was secure and the space in the backyard is beautiful. Okay he host was very friendly and offered a lot of information and helpful tips and suggestions right off the bat! There was no obvious bowl that I would have thought to use for water for the dogs, there was some old poop up by the house but I didn’t see any in the rest of the yard. And the resident dog scratched at the back door a lot.
Large backyard with lots to explore. Plenty of room for fetch. Backs up to beautiful wooded area. My dogs had a blast jumping through the leaves! The neighbor brought his dog outside briefly, but they were never close to the fence and my dogs didn’t mind.
Yard was bigger than expected and nicely fenced in! Our pup had lots of fun!
