Huge fenced in yard with private access to hiking trails in Ames Nowell abutting Cleveland pond. Spend time off leash in our yard before heading into the park. My house is green at the end of the cul de sac with a large black fence. We do have a detention basin that will need to be off limits for your dog(s). This area collects extra stormwater when it rains, though it is usually completely dry and filled with a lot of wild plants and bushes. Because of the heavy vegetation, we have seen wildlife like frogs and snakes down there, so we strongly suggest your dog has a good recall as they might be tempted to explore it. Welcome to our spot! We have a big beautiful fully fenced in backyard with lots of features for pups to enjoy. Wide open grassy spaces, gentle hills, mossy areas, trees and bushes to explore, a small water feature, sunny and shady spots! We have a nice patio area with a variety of seating and tables. There is a hose for filling up dog bowls (please just ensure it is turned back off!). At the back of the yard, there is a gate leading out into woods/conservation area that can also be explored. If you bring kids, we have two playhouses with some toys inside, along with two slides in the middle of the yard. Just ask for the WiFi password! If you are visiting in the evening, we can turn on outdoor lights for you. We offer a small doggy pool and our fire pit as extras (based on availability, please send us a message if interested!). Park in our spacious driveway and access the spot through one of two easy to use gates (pull UP). We love our yard and use it frequently, but always try to have it ready for guests since we allow last minute bookings. We do our best to check it and clean up between guests, but sometimes time does not allow or we are not home. Please be sure to pick up after your dog (you can use the small trash can inside the spot or our trash bin in the driveway, but please be sure to tie bags closed first). Please return all toys to the crate before you leave. Our lawn is far from perfect, but please discourage digging or the disruption of gardens/plants. Please do not pick from the fruit trees and bushes that we have out back. If you notice a white residue on any of the fruit trees, this is an organic clay treatment (kaolin clay) that is completely harmless to humans and animals. If you notice any mushrooms that interest or concern you, please feel free to forage or throw them into the woods.
