55Nice, large, secure area. Clean and well maintained. We enjoyed a doggy birthday party for six dogs at this location.
55A lovely and clean safe space for pups to run. Some reviews seemed to indicate that the fencing was not secure but I did not find that to be the case....unless perhaps their dogs are tiny. There are also unfenced woods to walk in but I did not realize that until I got home and sent Annette a text asking about it. She plans to revise her listing to more clearly indicate that fact. It does close from May 1 to Nov 1 since it is also a training facility but I hope to go back in the fall. Thanks Annette!
55So much fun! Always well kept and clean at this spot.
55This is our favorite spot. It’s always clean, quiet and it’s the perfect size for 2 dogs to run around.
55Very clean and nicely kept property with many great spaces for dogs. Some is fenced, most is not. Highly recommend
55The host was very accommodating! Nice secure area for my Mals to run and play ball.
55A very nice spot!
55So much fun… as always!!
45Nice spot with room for my dog to run around and sniff. We enjoyed the quiet location with tons of interesting smells but (importantly to us) no other animals within sight or earshot at the time of our visit besides some roosters crowing in the distance. The fence for this area is in need of repair (many of the sections of fence had some damage, some minor and some more serious) and is not suitable for small dogs or escape artists. My dog is 30 pounds and could have snuck out of a couple of holes if she wanted to; luckily she did not and we had no problems! However, I would definitely not describe this spot as escape-proof. We will return to this spot next time we need a nice quiet area to encounter lots of new scents.
45A great facility. Annette was so nice and no ft me a bag of toys to entertain our pup. There are a few gaps in the fence that my agile pup was able to wiggle under. Make sure to walk the fence with your dog before going off leash.

Hound Hill Rustic 1 Acre Fenced Private Dog Park in West Avon

Find us on Facebook! Search: Hound Hill, 1 acre fenced private dog park in West Avon Hound Hill is a fully fenced one acre wooded doggy paradise. We have our own pack of four dogs and created this space for them. They use the large yard daily but will always be secured inside the house for the entirety of your visit. Hound hill is an unimproved wooded area, but we have cleared brush, leaves and sticks for easier walking and playing with your dog. Our fence is mesh critter fence which is wildlife friendly for the deer, bears, bobcats and other animals that travel through our property. If you are looking for a large space for fetch or just to let your dog explore then this is the place! Please note that the dog park is on a hill and there are no paved or flat areas within the park. It is recommended that you wear good shoes with traction and are comfortable walking through an unimproved wooded area. There are rocks, sticks, leaves and uneven terrain. If you have physical limitations this park may be very difficult for you to use. When you arrive please take time to walk the fence line with your dog on leash first to ensure the fence is intact. Due to the nature of critter fencing and the abundance of wildlife, we have had occasional breaks caused by deer and bear as well as branches that have fallen. If you spot any issue please message the host and they will immediately address the issue. We love this fence because it does not entangle the wild animals and is very easy to repair. This means we have to inspect it often, and we do, but for the safety of all we encourage each doggie chaperone to do their own visual inspection before allowing dogs free rein. We do treat the area with cedar oil for ticks. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides or fertilizer. Please pull all the way into the drive and park in the gravel spot to the left of the garage. There is marked parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles please park the second vehicle in the culdesac and walk in. Do not block the garage doors. Enter and exit through the gate directly in front of the parking spot. Please do not use the gate on the other side of the lot for any reason. Please do not use the smaller fenced area directly off the back of the house. Please pick up after your dog. Removal of dog waste is imperative in order for us to continue to offer this spot. Thank you so much for visiting, I love seeing our clients and their dogs enjoy themselves so much while playing freely!
