Behind the house is fenced, the other portion of the yard is open and flat but is not fenced. The field portion can see the road and people walking as well as sheep across the street. I have chickens inside an electrified fence by the barn.

Enjoy our perfect, not so perfect oasis while you visit! We have 3 Australian shepherds that enjoy our yard so much that they wanted to share it with you. We can leave a water dish as well as poo bags and a scoop, whatever you choose. We also have corn hole/ladder toss available if you would like to play while watching your pup(s) play! (Please ask in advance for yard games and I’ll put them out) Parking is in the driveway, you simply enter the backyard through the gate on the left. Please make sure to close the gate behind you. Grill is not available for use. Both shed and home are locked at all times. Please clean up after your dog(s) and watch them carefully. Take care of my things as you would your own. We hope you enjoy as much as we do! Disclaimer: We HAVE ring security cameras at both the entrance and rear of home. Another thing I’d like to add is: While we are at work, our dogs ARE inside and you will most likely hear them barking. If you’d rather have less distractions to enhance your time, I’d recommend booking during evening hours (after 5:30 PM) to give me an opportunity to get my dogs out of the house and/or on the weekend with notice. We also live next to a major highway, separated by a large sound barrier, but not recommended for dogs with high sound sensitivity.

While most visits are quiet and private, we do offer dog training classes onsite on some weekends. Guests may see people or dogs arriving, though they use a separate entrance. This is important to consider for dogs who may be reactive. This is a self-service experience, as staff are not typically onsite during weekend rentals. Clear operating instructions are provided to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit.
