First off, without a fence, there’s a chance your dog might wander off if something catches their interest—like a squirrel, bird or deer. Also, there are other dogs around the neighborhood, yet it’s very unusual that to encounter unexpected visitors. Plus, the dog park is wooded and not all things are visible on the ground—there could be sharp objects, hidden sticks, or even toxic plants that your pup might sniff out. So, while the open space is great for a romp, a little caution and solid recall can help keep your furry friend safe and sound!
