Nestled on the rear of our 5 acre property, this private dog park features a serene country backdrop with views of barns, corn fields with cabins that you can use the porches to relax in rocking chairs and watch your furry friend(s) have fun. We have chickens and dogs on the property that will be isolated from guests via separate fencing but cannot be seen once you enter the sniff spot. Located right off 96th and Ditch, convenient for travelers on I-465, Highway 31, or Michigan Rd. We have a dog (kept away from view when you visit), children and a cat. This is not a good place for aggressive dogs for this reason, and because our neighbors have a dog (visible through the fence). Guests may park in the horseshoe circle drive in front of the house (please don't block the driveway to the garage) and let themselves into the back yard using the wrought iron gate next to the garage and trash cans. Let your doggos run and play in a fully fenced, mature wooded setting right in the center of Indianapolis! The property is a certified wildlife habitat. As your pets play, enjoy birdwatching and sightings of cardinals, woodpeckers, blue jays, bluebirds, hummingbirds, finches, and more. Wildlife less present in winter. No pesticides or chemicals are used anywhere on the property. Grass is doggy-safe. Only organic cedar mulch with no dyes are present. A bat house installed at the back of the woods helps control mosquitos naturally in summer. There is some mud/dirt in the yard by the patio and near the entry gate as a result of getting a new concrete patio last fall. Please try to keep dogs out of the mud and out of the garden beds. Total lot size .67 acres; only the backyard is used for Sniffspot guests. Nearby traffic sounds are possible but not constantly present.
