55This property is incredible! So many trails to explore. Our dogs had a blast and we can’t wait to come back.
55We along with our pups thoroughly enjoyed your Sniffspot. Thank you for offering this beautiful location.
55Our golden retriever pup had the best time hiking through the trails and hills of this beautiful property! Trails were marked clearly and instructions to find the entrance of the property were helpful! We had a lovely afternoon surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature— definitely planning our return soon! Thank you!
55Great spot, peaceful hike with two V's that thoroughly enjoyed all the sniffs, places to run freely with no one to bother us!! Thanks to you Olivia Chris
55We had a great time and a good walk! Everything as advertised. We are very comfortable at this location. Good workout for our pup (and us!).
55Beautiful trails and quiet serene setting in the woods. Loved exploring and my dog loved sniffing everything! We got a little lost in the trail system on our way out and the host came and helped us and led us out and was very nice and accommodating! Would definitely return!
55The location was GREAT for us, and the trails were visible and pretty easy to follow. Friendly wave from the owner, too! 😉 we all got some GREAT exercise, and hope to be back again soon!!
55We had the absolute best time. So many trails to explore we’ll definitely be back!
55We had a wonderful walk!
55Our favorite Sniffspot so far! Horses and chickens visible and penned nearby but not an issue at all. Paths were varied and clean, and host was super helpful regarding exactly where to park on their sizable property. Thank you!

Description

Looking for an escape from the busy city? Or maybe you live in a neighborhood with a pup that likes hiking? Then look no further! This wooded play spot has endless trails, wildlife, and serenity! Take a peaceful walk on the trails and listen to the birds chirp in the trees. Maybe you have an older pup and hikes aren't really their thing anymore... that's okay too! We have a large field that they lounge in the sun with their favorite toy or play some fetch! We are a farm, and we do have animals. So, I ask that you PLEASE keep your dog(s) away from the horse's pasture and the chickens' coops! They will be in their respective areas, and wish to enjoy their time to enjoy the sunshine too! (Pst... you can use code "TURBO5" for $5 off your first visit too!)

Hey there! I'm Olivia, your host! I have a GSD, Turbo, some horses, lots of chickens, and 2 goats! I've been around horses as long as I can remember, but I love dogs too! (Let's be honest... really any animal I have a big soft spot for...)

Give your dog room to RUN! Our private 2-acre property offers a large open grassy area surrounded by mature trees with plenty of space for running, playing, training, fetch, and exploring. This is a great spot for high-energy dogs, multiple-dog households, or dogs that simply need more room than a typical backyard or public dog park can offer. There’s a mix of wide-open lawn and shaded areas along the trees, so your dog can burn off some energy while you relax and enjoy the property. Bring their favorite ball, frisbee, or toys and let them enjoy some real space!

Near McIntyre Square/UPMC Passavant/McCandless Crossing. You may park in our driveway or on the street. Enter the backyard via either gate and enjoy! - Water jug under the deck (attn: may be frozen in winter) - Poop bags by the water jug - Trash can under the deck for poop bags - Bin of dog toys for your use - flirt pole, chuck it balls, tug, frisbee - Table and chairs in the yard and also on the deck - Bug spray (has been somewhat buggy with all the summer rain) If your dog likes to dig, they may dig freely in the dirt under the deck. This is a yard full of great sniffs - squirrels, chipmunks, voles, birds, bunnies and ground hogs all trek through regularly. Many dogs love to climb up on the stone walls and sniff everything. Running around on the huge deck is also popular! Note: The large deck has bird feeders containing safflower and sunflower seed. They are mostly out of reach, but safe for dogs just in case. DO NOT ENTER OTHER PEOPLE'S YARDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. **Please use caution in winter as everything will be snowy and slippery. The backyard and deck are not cleared in winter.
