Come and let your dog explore, play, and swim on our beautiful family farm. Our farm means the world to us and we think you will love it just as much. Our farm lies on 16 acres in Bull Valley, Illinois. Although it is not fenced in, our property is doggy heaven for dogs trained to be off-leash. Come take a walk, bring a frisbee/ball, or just come let your dog sniff and explore. Please do not go into the land beyond the caution tape and signs. That is not part of our sniff spot. We have many farm animals on our property as well. Please be respectful of our property. We take pride in our farm and love sharing it, but we want to keep it beautiful. Entry in any of the barns/buildings is prohibited. Please remain in the back of our property. We do live on the property and appreciate our privacy. FYI, this is a working farm. Sometimes as you are pulling in, there might be cars/people in the barns and lot. Please keep that in mind as you are arriving and if your dog is reactive, bring a leash until you can get into the back field.

During the summer months when the weather is nice and our guest volume is high, we may have dogs outside in the other yards midday, but we will not utilize the yard next to the Private Puppy Playground during Sniffspot reservations. Other daytime hours may be available upon request, but we ask that you contact the resort directly for scheduling those times. Additional services including daycare play groups, overnight boarding, nail trims, bathing, and full grooming services, as well as professional training are also available.

2 Acre wooded yard. No fence but decently far from the neighborhood road. Max speed for that road is 20mph. Definitely some wildlife out here that consist of squirrels, deer, and chipmunks. Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) after work and weekends tend to have more shooting noise during hunting seasons. * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours
