Come enjoy our little slice of heaven! We have 8 acres fenced in with a one acre pond. The fence is pretty sturdy but does have some spots where a smaller dog could slip through. If your dog is an escape artist, please keep them leashed! Our two dogs will remain indoors while you’re here. We do frequently see wildlife - eagles, hawks, feral cats, turtles, deer, etc. Please keep a very close eye on small dogs. Large prey birds may get the wrong idea. Leave poo bags by the gate and we will dispose of them for you. Any special requests, just ask! 😊

It is surrounded by Kansas City claycomo and pleasant valley but the sniff spot is actually located in Clay county Missouri it's his split by shoal Creek it has some deep areas and shallow areas for different sized dogs I am in the middle of setting up barbecue grills bonfire pits lighting it has asphalt off the road parking and you can drive your car all the way down to the spot in the woods so no need to worry about it being parked or ticketed on a city road. John's dog park is an excellent mix of the country without the drive to the country right in the middle of the city. On John's dog Park trails you also see deer turkey rabbits squirrels and much much more. There are nice cut trails to walk you and your dog will have a wonderful experience and I believe your dog well enjoy trails the timber the wide openness and the ability to run swim and play all while not being bothered by people for not having a leash although that is at your discretion and the safety of you and your dog is at your own risk although John's dog park is a very safe place to go. The property is located at the last house on a dead end road from there a private road that goes back into the woods that is asphalted and gated there's grass trees thicket mold stereos creeks waterways plenty of sunlight or shade if you need.
