As water activities are now closed for the season we are using our stock tank to house most of our toys so that the dogs can jump in to play or choose one for yard play. Surrounded by scenic views and wide-open spaces, it’s a natural haven for adventurous pups and their humans alike. Winding trails weave through the land, providing plenty of room to roam. Most guests spend about an hour here—walking the 20–30 minute trail loops and then relaxing by the water or letting their dogs play. It’s a great way to enjoy fresh air, peaceful nature, and some quality time with your four-legged friend. We’re always working to enhance the experience, and we plan to add even more trail options this summer—so there will be more to discover on your next visit! A few quick notes: the trails can get muddy during rainy or winter months, so we recommend wearing boots. The pond is not maintained, and guests who choose to enter the water do so at their own risk. We’re also continuing to mark property lines and add signage to help everyone feel comfortable and informed during their visit.

Spring 2026 Updates: Spring is definitely giving us a tease this month! Lots of guests have visited us during these 60 to 70° days and it’s great to hear the sounds of happy barking again. The yard is looking good! No more mud! All the favorite toys are out, as well as bottled water when the weather is above freezing and a stainless steel bowl. This fenced in area is housed within an animal sanctuary. The area is across a field from barn animals and resident dogs will be inside the house. There are 3 barn cats, but they do not go near the fenced in area. Parking is available next to the fenced area and the gate is open to walk into the fenced in area.
