55We drove out on a sunny day and it was a beautiful drive. Lovely spot. It's on a slope but there is a large level area with a table. Would be a great spot for a picnic. The chicken coop is in the middle so I had to work with the dogs to keep them from getting too fixated on the chickens. After a few minutes though they were much more relaxed and able to go and check out the rest of the smells. The neighbors were out working in their vineyard with their two beautiful Bernese. They mostly observed us from a far. I have a pretty playful 6 month old pup so at one point they did run along the fence line and bark a little. This was the result of my pup running and bouncing along the fence line wanting to play with them. I think they were just eager to meet us and it was brief. Once I got my pup away from the fence they went back to minding their own business. May not be good for dogs with high prey drive but other than that, I would definitely recommend it.
55Great place for the doggos to explore!! Our doggos had an absolute blast and the view was stunning!!!
55This spot is beautiful and quiet. My dogs had a fantastic time. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this location for people or pets with mobility issues. The ground is very uneven and also steep. I would also advise that there is a chicken coop that is accessible to the dogs. My girls were initially very interested but quickly moved on to other sniffs. We appreciated the water and poop bags! We will be back again.
35A nice drive and view out on Bald Peak Rd to the location. Pretty steep road/long gravel road leading up to the spot. Some signage would be nice, but we know this spot just opened. The entire 2 acres isn't very accessible (some over growth, weeds, bramble type bushes). The upper area with the picnic area is nice. I'd be worried about dogs with mobility issues running down the hill.
55This was a wonderful spot for our dogs to run around. It was very secure so I had no worries about my dog escaping. There was water and some balls there. Our dogs had a blast zooming around the yard. Will definitely be back!
55Beautiful property, great views, very quiet, and my girls had fun sniffing and exploring. It’s so nice to have so many new Sniffspots popping up on the west side! We had a great time, but it was definitely a bit of a workout. if you or your pup have mobility concerns or if your dog is reactive around chickens, this spot may not be ideal. It’s on a fairly steep hillside and pups can walk right up to the little chicken coop.
55Beautiful view and very private! Both my dogs loved to run around and had a great time. Looking forward to coming again!

Host replied: Hi Aileen! Thank you for your kind comments! As a note, we are going to include in our welcome message going forward that we are happy to put the chickens up into their coop for folx with pups who may not enjoy seeing the (or enjoy it too much! 🤣). We hope you come see us again soon!

Host replied: Hi Amber! Thank you for your review! Spring has definitely sprung on our property, and the vegetation is thriving! We will be doing our first mow of the pasture as soon as other flowers are blooming for the pollinators in our area. I will definitely look into additional signage; thank you for the suggestion!

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are starting out, but expect to make it a lot more fun as the weather improves. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. We now have a place for your humans to wash you when you leave the sniffspot area. It is currently set up with kiddie pool, shower head and hose, with lavender wipes as well. Hand sanitizer now available for humans to use. In the summer, there will be lots of water and hoses available for getting water and there will be bowls too! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect yet, but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that I have not gotten filled between visits and I will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let me know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. Please take pictures of your beautiful happy dogs and share here! Let's make other dogs and humans know there is a safe place to play! Thank you and we look forward to making dogs happy so that they can live their best lives! Additional note. WE have two safe yards (Never booked at the same time) completely fenced. The entry is also securely fenced. Your action of closing the gate upon entry and exit keep all dogs safe. Thank you all for your consideration! Come VIsit us at Mookie's Magic Meadows for a Magically fun time!
