A bench inside the space means you can sit back, relax, and let your pup do their thing — no hovering required. We also have an on leash trail that can be used while on the property. Walk through winter dormant farm fields to a secluded fully-fenced pasture. Bird and wildlife sightings occur often. Be sure to wear waterproof hiking shoes. Drive SLOWLY and follow the 'Winter Pasture' signs to the back of the farm to a parking area. Then walk along farm fields to the fully fenced back pasture.

Enclosed by 6-foot fencing, The Overlook is a secure spot where your dog can roam, sniff, and play freely. The gently sloping hillside leads down toward Gee Creek, a small creek tucked along the property edge, creating the kind of rich, layered scent environment that dogs find endlessly fascinating. Mulch and bark pathways keep paws comfortable and the ground manageable even in wetter months. It's a great space for a game of fetch, a casual sniff session, or just letting your dog decompress off-leash in a contained setting. The varied terrain adds a little natural adventure to every visit. We also offer an on leash trail to use while on the property. A heads up: The Overlook sits adjacent to a busy road, so there is noticeable traffic noise. The 6-foot fencing keeps your dog completely safe and secure, but if your pup is sensitive to road sounds, our other space — The Meadow — may be a better fit. We know there are lots of gopher holes and pups love to dig at them but please do not allow them to. It creates hazards for everyone else and turns the grass to mud. If they must dig, please have them do it on top of one of the two big hills. We hope you enjoy your visit!

Mountain View Farm and Firewood 15 Acre Unfenced Private forest In Banks

We have sheep, turkeys and chickens on the farm. Stay clear of pasture fencing. Hot wire used inside of the pasture, don’t touch. Wildlife walk the trails too. Use caution. 200 foot elevation gain from the bottom of the property to the top. Hiking up and down hill is required. Wide dirt and/or grass trails. Several trails that intersect with each other. Grass field area off trail available. Seating and dog water available on the trail. Trash cans are available at the top of the trail and water stations down lower. Water stations may change due to weather conditions. We offer fresh $5 egg and $10 firewood bundles that you can pay cash, Venmo for here or on this app.
