Drive SLOWLY and follow the 'Winter Pasture' signs to the back of the farm to a parking area. Then walk along farm fields to the fully fenced back pasture.

Private fully fenced ~0.17-acre backyard in SW Portland with plenty of open grassy space for dogs to run, sniff, and explore. This spot works especially well for reactive dogs, shy dogs, or high-energy pups that need room to move without encountering other dogs. Your dog will not encounter other dogs during your visit. My dog Bo (80-lb Border Collie mix, 8 years old) can stay inside, or if your dog enjoys socializing he’s happy to join for supervised play. The yard is mostly enclosed with 6-ft wood privacy fencing and secure gates, with a small section of wire fence facing the street where dogs may occasionally see passing activity. Two side gates provide easy entry into the backyard. The space is intentionally simple and sniff-friendly with grass and minimal landscaping so dogs can run, roll, and explore naturally. A separate fenced garden area keeps dogs out of the vegetable beds. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood. A nearby backyard sometimes has ducks or chickens, which you may hear occasionally, but most neighboring yards are not visible due to the fencing. The whole space is fully fenced and sits on a gentle slope with plenty of room for dogs to run, sniff, and explore. We keep a few simple things out there for you, like chairs, a water bowl and hose to refill, toys for fetch, poop bags, and a couple of dog cots if your pup needs a break. Since we’re near the end of a private road, it’s been a great fit for reactive dogs, dogs in training, or anyone looking for a quieter place to let their dog run. The fenced area is near our house, so you might see us coming and going, but the space itself is fully yours during your visit. This is a space where all dogs and people are welcome. We’re really happy to share it and hope your dogs love it as much as ours do.

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. There are 2 miles of graveled roads and 6 miles of trails to hike, along with a creek that runs thru the property. You will have cell phone service at the Christmas tree lot area where you will park, but limited cell phone service if you decide to hike around. There are seats at the xmas tree lot, along with water and a garbage can 🐶. Welcome to The Overlook — a fully fenced dog space with natural terrain, and plenty to keep curious noses busy. Enclosed by 6-foot fencing, The Overlook is a secure spot where your dog can roam, sniff, and play freely. The gently sloping hillside leads down toward Gee Creek, a small creek tucked along the property edge, creating the kind of rich, layered scent environment that dogs find endlessly fascinating. Mulch and bark pathways keep paws comfortable and the ground manageable even in wetter months. It's a great space for a game of fetch, a casual sniff session, or just letting your dog decompress off-leash in a contained setting. The varied terrain adds a little natural adventure to every visit. We also offer an on leash trail to use while on the property. A heads up: The Overlook sits adjacent to a busy road, so there is noticeable traffic noise. The 6-foot fencing keeps your dog completely safe and secure, but if your pup is sensitive to road sounds, our other space — The Meadow — may be a better fit. We love our guests and to show it we’re giving you $8 toward your next visit when you include a photo in your review! Valid one time per guest. We make efforts to provide a safe experience for you and your pups. Please return the favor by having a profile picture! Reservations for mystery people will be cancelled. Dogs must be leashed when entering or exiting (no exceptions). Absolutely no digging or fence fighting. We added more lighting and easier entry instructions to make first time visits a breeze even at night. With that said, if you are a new guest please read instructions BEFORE you arrive. If you go to the wrong house you will not be allowed to come back. We simply cannot continue to host if this happens. Instructions are visible to you once you book. Fully fenced yard with short grass. Includes a fire pit and is very well lit at night. Great for a date night with the pups or hang by the fire with a couple friends. BYO fire wood. If you plan on having a fire, we recommend a 2 hour visit! Use hose to completely extinguish fire before you leave. Note to our guests regarding pricing: the cost per dog per hour will occasionally fluctuate depending on multiple factors like weather, how busy we we are, and the state of the grass. For example, In order to give the grass some time to recover we may increase the price to reduce foot traffic. These fluctuations are necessary to maintain a healthy and clean yard.

This is a rural, outdoor property designed for dogs who need room to run, sniff, and decompress. Please note it is only partially fenced and bordered by Abernathy Creek. Other Animals & Activity: • No other dogs are present on the property. • Two cats may be visible; please supervise dogs that chase cats. • The property is mostly quiet; occasional outdoor activity from the homeowner may occur. • Occasional machinery or vehicle noise may be heard from surrounding areas. Terrain: This is a natural field environment. Terrain may include: • Uneven ground • Natural holes or divots • Sloped areas • Tall grass and seasonal vegetation • Mud depending on weather • Rocks, roots, and other natural features • Wildlife and insects Guests should wear appropriate footwear and supervise dogs at all times. Season alert: dandelions are blooming which means bees. This is some of the first food for spring bees, so we often leave them. There will likely be a bee visiting the flowers around the yard from spring through summer. Gate to enter on Bull Mountain Rd, on the northwest side of the property. We have a fun cattle gate that slides open. Duck your head and walk on up a wooden boardwalk to the backside of our yard. The fenced in area includes all of the backyard up to the landscaped area next to the house. Feel free to roam and run across the back section. This is stick-topia. A stick for every pup that wants one. Feel free to take one home with you We will compost the dog waste, please just scoop up the poo with the provided shovel and add to the bucket. We will take it from there. There's a swing for humans, please enjoy. I am working on building a nice little shelter, but for now enjoy the cover the beautiful Douglas fir trees provide.

This is a 2 acre wooded loop on Mt Scott. Our property bumps up against the Wahoo nature reserve is very private, shaded by large trees and well maintained. Our dog loves the woods and creek. We decided to open it to the community so other dogs and their families can enjoy it.
