Description

Wooded 30-acres of private land in Holts Summit, Mo. The acreage includes lots of trees, rocky outcroppings, and a seasonal stream. There's a barbwire fence around the entire plot that you can follow for a decent hike, or you can just sniff around the interior. There isn't a set trail, but the vast majority of the land is very walkable.

Additional rules

Pets must be leashed. Guests need to park in front of the two wooden posts opening immediately after pulling into the drive. Once parked, walk through that opening and start exploring. Stay off driveway and steer clear from the fenced-in yards in front and back of house.

Community safety rules

	Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the spot.
	Make sure the area is safe and secure before bringing your dog in.
	Never enter a spot before your booking start time and never leave late.
	Pick up after your dogs. Leave the spot as it was when you arrived.
	Always review and abide by spot specific rules.
	Unless otherwise stated, restrooms are not available on site.

Great spot if you want to get outdoors and do some light hiking. You can go up and down the hillside, or stay fairly flat but rocky walking the dry creek bed or near it. There were a few isolated pools of clean water for the dogs to cool off in and get a little drink. The property is surrounded by barbwire, the smaller dog sniffed right under it. He has good recall, so not a huge issue for us; bur something to keep in mind if you have a small dog that wanders. The owner checked in via text to make sure everything was ok. All in all a great outing. Thank you Steve for opening up your property.
