55My dogs loved this place! We did arrive early in the morning and there were a ton of critters and some deer about so make sure your dog has strong recall, a long line, an ecollar etc. The trail in the woods felt super secluded and peaceful. If we lived in the area we’d definitely be back all the time! But just passing through.

55The pictures didn’t do this spot justice…it is so wonderful! The dogs were so excited and curious to look at and smell the goats and pig as soon as we arrived. LOVED the wood trails. Perfect for a summer day. They were shady and cool, and on the trails the grasses weren’t tall so I wasn’t as worried about the dogs picking up ticks (this year has been SO bad for ticks!). When you arrive, follow the driveway in either direction when you reach the fork. The only thing to watch out for is that there are a few areas where there is old barbed wire fence falling down, so just be aware of where the fencing might be along the property line so your pup doesn’t stumble into it accidentally. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome property with us. We had a great time!

This is a peaceful country alternative to a crowded public dog park—ideal for dogs that need space, owners looking for a relaxing walk, and anyone who wants some private outdoor time with their best friend. Stay away from widow makers: Any tree leaned against another which, will fall at some point and could kill any living thing under it when it falls! 10 foot drop off surrounding entire property= wetland/tertuaries: Do not enter due to probable quick sand, per great Lakes fish and game wardens and assigned wetland scientist that frequent property and protect the wetlands. All NW IN wild animals share property. Brown recuse spiders: found on wood. Coyotes, deer and wild turkeys roam throughout the land. Sand cranes, geese, large Crows, Owls, and Midwest birds hang out. Eagles, and Hawks will take small dogs, cats and children. No drugs, marijuana, alcohol while, wandering property with dog on sniffspot.com.
