Our park is fully fenced with both big and small dogs in mind. We have added a permanent shelter from both sun and shade complete with a picnic table and seating for you. There is a play structure to keep your kids busy. Welcome to our SUMMER PROGRAM starting April 1st. Our summer program includes fun, parkour and agility equipment to learn and bond with your dog. Bring treats for training! There is also a box of toys and a lost n found available. Water is provided. Please use the pooper scooper to pick up after your dogs. There is plenty of room to play ball or practice obedience or run. This is a farm setting but we are in a residential area so please cognizant of noise either by humans or dogs. It is spacious, rustic, natural and real—not a manicured city dog park. The main play area is grassy and open. Blackberry bushes and prickly vegetation grow around some outer edges, so please supervise dogs that like to push into brush. The ground is natural and may be uneven, wet or slippery following rain. Fallen branches, wildlife and other normal outdoor conditions may occasionally be present. 🐦🐿️ The lowest fencing is approximately 4 feet high. This field may not be suitable for dogs that can jump, climb or escape over a 4-foot fence. 👀 PRIVACY AND DISTRACTIONS Our family dogs do not enter the Sniffspot field during confirmed reservations. They may occasionally be seen or heard from our separate family yard or house. Dogs, people, cyclists, vehicles and other animals may also sometimes be seen or heard outside the property. This is a good option for dogs that benefit from private space but can tolerate occasional sights and sounds. It is not a completely visually or audibly isolated location. 💧 SELF-SERVE AMENITIES The water, pool, toy, waste and seating areas are self-serve. Please use what you need and leave each station ready for the next guest. 💛 Before leaving: ✅ Pick up all dog waste ✅ Empty and return any pool used ✅ Empty water bowls and place used bowls in the USED BOWLS container ✅ Return toys and ball launchers to the toy drying station ✅ Place wet or muddy toys in the USED TOYS basket ✅ Replace the seating cover ✅ Close and latch every gate Please leave the field ready for the next dog. 🐾 🌧️ SEASONAL AVAILABILITY This is a seasonal outdoor field. We stay open as long as the ground is firm and conditions allow. We typically pause bookings sometime in October or November when sustained rain leaves the field saturated, muddy or at risk of damage. We normally reopen around March once the ground has drained, the grass has recovered and the field is firm enough for dogs to run safely. The exact closing and reopening dates change from year to year based on rainfall, drainage and field conditions. Welcome to our fully fenced, spacious yard—perfect for your dog to run, play, and explore. The space offers both sunny and shaded areas, along with plenty of grass. Toys, balls, water dishes, waste bags, and treats are provided. For pet owners, there is seating, water, shade, and a fire table for evening use (please ensure it is turned off before leaving). **Kindly clean up after your pet and dispose of waste properly, by putting your dogs bagged soil in the garbage (The large Black Bin, Not the smaller one please) at the side of the House where you enter through the Black Gate. As well as please Put your garbage in the Black Garbage bin on the patio or the same at the black gate. We’re also excited to be adding a dog play structure soon for even more fun. Please enter through the black gate along the side driveway and ensure it is securely closed before letting your dog off leash. There is a temporary fence on one side with a very small gap underneath; however, it is not large enough for most dogs to pass through. Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.
