1 Acre fully fenced grassy area Dog Park with covered seating area to enjoy your coffee. No sprays or pesticides used on grass. Long stretch for ball launching and getting out the zoomies. Another 12 acres of walking over a bridge of the Lil Campbell River into an incredibly lush forest. The forest is not all fenced and is open. Once over the bridge, it is the dog owner’s discretion of whether your dog is off leash or not. If your dog has a prey drive it’s advised to keep on a long leash for safety. It is a private forest so it is rare to see other dogs and people, but wildlife is always a possibility. Please keep your dog on a short leash from the parking area to the dog park area and also from the dog park to bridge for a walk through the trails in the forest. There is a deck box with all kinds of dog toys, beach towels for water days and a first aid kit, just in case. 🌻 The Farmstand: Stop by our welcoming farmstand at the entrance! Here we have plants, seasonal vegetables and fruits, Crazy Chicken Granny's painted rocks and more. WEATHER ALERT: If you are checking the weather online check the Ferndale (98248) weather. The Bellingham weather stops at the Smith Road. My prevailing wind is from the South BUT I do get the cold NE wind from Canada. NOTE: This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dog's bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!

With approximately 3 miles of well marked trails, you and your pooch are sure to enjoy exploring this private hiking spot. Dogs may be off leash as long as they remain under your control at all times. Please clean up after your dogs. RESPECT OUR NEIGHBORS! Enjoy your visit! ***NOTE: Expect there to be mud or water in places on the roads and trails during the rainy winter season. Please plan accordingly. Also keep in mind that the trails are on a hill and there is a chance you may see deer, coyote, squirrels, bear or other forest animals that may potentially cross through our property. While VERY rare, it is a possibility.

Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

West Pole Lane

Off West Pole Road, there’s a little lane next to a DeWildes nursery field. Our front field has a hidden gate (see pictures!) that will let you into our fully fenced front field. The grass is field grass and a little more rough and uneven than a yard lawn. When possible, please fill any dug-up spots so as to keep people and pups from tripping or getting hurt!

The badminton is put away. There is NO WATER available. Please bring your own. Hi. We are currently on the WINTER program. Come play with your dogs and family here. We offer a farm setting open field with loads of room for both dogs and their people. Private fenced parking area off the street. Enter off 248 Street at 5245 248 Street. Our park is fully fenced with both big and small dogs in mind. We have added a permanent shelter from both sun and shade complete with a picnic table and seating for you. There is a play structure to keep your kids busy. There is also a box of toys. Please use the pooper scooper to pick up after your dogs. There is plenty of room to play ball or practice obedience or run. This is a farm setting but we are in a residential area so please cognizant of noise either by humans or dogs. It’s surrounded by trees for a nice private time. We look forward to hosting you!
