***** PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION ***** There is important information here. Situated on a scenic working farm (think tractors and people working- though not close to the spot), the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. Mornings and evenings are when we do most of our chores and you are likely to see us. The garden, barn and house are far enough from the spot that its not usually an issue. *****There is not a lot of shade in the spot. You are welcome to move the chair to the shade as needed.***** The frisbees are free to take home! We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it. The pool is cloudy due to the algae inhibitor and concentrated barley killing off any algae that tries to form. The water is safe.

I donate 100% of all proceeds to a 501c nonprofit animal rescue/organization. I open on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. You can message me and request a day other than the days I am open and if I can accommodate I will. There is NO diving into the pool, entry and exit are via the steps in the shallow end only. NO SMOKING allowed on my property, I have a one strike policy.

Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Stormy's Yard A Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In South Portland

The yard is fully fenced in, with a deck with a table and chairs for the humans, and a quiet yard for the dogs to play. There are a variety of toys available, as well as a bowl for water, a hose and sprinkler.

Ruby’s Retreat for Reactive Dogs is a place where a dog can come to be dog. We have about .75 acres fenced with a ramp, oversized dig box, hideout, tether tug, (available upon request)kiddie pool and or splash pad. We also have about an acre of wooded trails that were created for Ruby and her brother’s daily sniff and strolls. Ruby was dog reactive which limited her outings, we would like to give other dogs the opportunity to be a dog with no stress and just be a dog.
