Maggie's 5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Blue Hill

All dogs welcome in the orchard. Come enjoy the beauty and openness of a fully fenced secluded apple orchard surrounded by beautiful trees on all sides. 5 min away from downtown Blue Hill. On Route 177- very easy to find! Please bring your own water. There is no bathroom facility. There is a great rock to sit on in the trees in this orchard, but I will getting a bench soon. This fenced in area is surrounded by forest and there are critters like skunk, porcupine, and deer. I have only seen the former two at dusk- but always be careful when entering and exiting and scan the orchard before entering. Brand new sniff spot :) appreciate any feedback and reviews! Enjoy

The dog yard is split into 3 main zones with gates so you can explore while keeping your dog in sight. We have lots of space to explore, toys, and lots of other amenities! Our farm is set on 75 acres here in historic Litchfield with the original 1830 farmhouse and a big red barn. We have multiple areas for your to explore: 1. Our Play Yard welcome area that has a 3 sided shelter with seating. This is where you can grab some poop bags, toys, or request extras like agility equipment, kiddie pools, corn hole, BBQ grill etc. This area also lights up at night. 2. The Wilde Side with lots of paths to explore, a secret garden, native plants, hedges, multiple spots to sit, and a big open meadow. We are working making this area a monarch way station as well! 3. Our new area, Wolf Tree Meadow! Walk behind past the barn towards the hayfield and explore the stone compass circle. Rent the fire ring or use the table and chairs to relax while your dog sniffs to their heart’s content. Please note the entire SS accessible property is fenced. There is a driveway gate, and a second gate to enter our SniffSpot.

If you plan to use the pool please add it to your reservation by selecting it under extras. We also have fresh eggs for sale from our backyard chickens. $4 a dozen. Let me know if you’re interested and they can be left in a cooler for pick up during your visit.

Nonesuch Meadows Farm

Enjoyable farm fields with lots of room for dogs to roam and play. Wildlife does show up at times, anywhere from deer, turkeys, skunks and porcupines. Our main field does abut a golf course, and often get stray balls fly over the fence into our field. To avoid being hit by one, I’d recommend staying more towards the middle to right of the field. During deer season we do require the owner and dog to be wearing orange, and don’t have guests come on Saturdays. We do hay our fields in the summer (May/June-September) time, and once that begins we will set up a schedule with specific areas that can be utilized.

The yard at Cooperative Dogs is a beautiful, half-acre, fenced in area among the trees. It can be a great place for your pup to run and play and sniff in a safe, private atmosphere. Be aware that it is a new and developing yard, so as of now the ground is predominantly wood chips and there are stumps, trees, and other obstacles. Please be advised that Cooperative Dogs is not liable for injury to you or your dog. The fence is 5’ high welded wire construction with a chicken wire skirt, which is secure for most dogs but we cannot guarantee that your dog will not figure out a way to escape. There are currently no bathroom facilities. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT PLOW THE DRIVEWAY OR THE YARD THROUGHOUT THE WINTER. BOOK AND ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.

If you want to bring your own for the little beach area pls feel free! • Water is on! Spigot on side of camp for your use. • Please remember to carry out all dog waste if metal trash can not present. Do not put in our general trash. If your pup poops well into the woods you can leave it :) ⸻ Open year-round, this private 5+ acre Sniffspot offers plenty of room to roam, explore, and swim on a beautiful peninsula extending into Balch Lake. Park at the top of the hill and enjoy a scenic walk down, giving your pup a true “Sniffari” experience along the way. At the end, you’ll be rewarded with peaceful lake views and a perfect spot for your dog to splash, swim, and play. Prefer not to walk? You’re welcome to drive directly down to the lake access area. This property is unfenced but very private, with the peninsula providing a natural barrier and minimal outside traffic. Please note: • The access road is sand and gravel. Our farm is open fields, tons of trees to play hide and seek in, and lots of riverfront area for dogs to swim. There are ungroomed “walking trails” that go around the entire property. Center of property tends to be wet. My personal dogs will remain inside the house while you are here. Bring your own poop bags please. Dogs with good recall are allowed off leash, at your own risk, please. We love all breeds of dogs with every quirk and ability. We respect that all dogs have different temperaments; all dogs are welcome, no matter how they feel towards strangers or other animals. We will do our 100% best to ensure no person or domestic animal will bother you on your adventure here. Lots of room to run and play ball or frisbee! Pond can be used by the dogs at your discretion. Pond is not treated or tested but my dogs used to get in it. There are turtles, frogs, geese (please chase the geese away!), ducks and maybe other wildlife at the pond too. Separately there is 40 acres of woods. See the map I drew in the photos. Features a fully fenced-in enclosure and safe play space. The enclosed area is almost an acre and includes 5-6' high fencing, trees and shrubs to sniff around, secret pathways through the trees, shady dog curated beds under the brush, balls for catch and a variety of dog toys. This is where dogs can just be dogs! Also offering 1:1 and group dog training opportunities. If you're having trouble with training, behavioral issues or just want help teaching your dog good manners I can help! My enclosure also includes a smaller pen I use to keep puppies protected from frollicking big dogs, nervous dogs or dogs with behavioral issues. It's a safe way for them to watch and observe everything that's happening and get used to the new smells and voices from a safe and protected space.

There is also access to the rest of the yard, but because of nearby traffic, we only recommend venturing outside the fenced area for dogs with reliable recall. On warmer days, dogs can cool off in the kiddie pool, and we provide plenty of toys for playtime. All toys and water bowls are thoroughly sanitized between visits, and labeled bins are available for used toys to help us keep everything clean for every guest. We do not use pesticides or insecticides anywhere on the property, making the space as natural and pet-safe as possible. However, because we avoid chemical treatments, we cannot guarantee the yard is completely tick-free. Poop bags and a designated waste receptacle are provided, and we kindly ask that everyone clean up after their pup.
