Description

Welcome to our Leesburg country escape! It's just over 3 acres of partially fenced yard. (There is a creek at the bottom of the hill, but I advise against going down the really steep hill and bank). Lots of space to run and play ball. My dogs love it, and I want to share it with other dog lovers because I remember how hard it was to find a place that was closer when I was in Brambleton. We are located less than 5 minutes from Brambleton. A forest backs to us, and the trees are especially beautiful in the fall. It's a perfect location for pictures with your pup(s)! Bring a photographer and take beautiful pictures with your dog(s). Come and enjoy the country while still conveniently located to Brambleton and Leesburg shops and restaurants. Please pick up after your dog. Grab a bite at Blue Ridge Grill in Brambleton with your dog on their dog-friendly patio less than five minutes away. Water bowl, hose access, and 💩 bags provided. Also FREE, upon request: - Kiddie pool - Dog towels - Dog toys - Natural Bug Spray - Firepit (logs extra) * No restroom access available.

This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water. The area down to the creek is very steep and sometimes slippery with heavy brush in areas. The bank to the creek is also very steep on our property. We do not recommend you go down to the creek, but you may at your own risk. We recommend you avoid the front yard because it is a small area and our front door has glass so there's a chance our dogs could hear or see you if they are home. Best to stay in the backyard for more privacy. The front yard is also only partially fenced. We are set very far back from the road, but the neighbor's property in front is fenced only directly in front of our house, not the whole yard, so your dog does have access to the road (although it is not close), which is another reason we recommend staying in the backyard. Our property is not fully fenced, so we do not recommend dogs that do not have good recall to visit until we fence the rest of the property in the future. OTHER NOTES: The occasional delivery truck may come by during your visit. Unfortunately, I cannot block delivery times, but they are used to seeing dogs out and about. They will likely stop at the end of the driveway if they see your dog(s). Please make sure you can recall your dog or have a leash until they are gone. They know to leave the deliveries by the two-car garage back door or front porch (depending on weather), but FYI in case they ask. It doesn't happen often but just so you are aware.

Recommend requesting minimum 24 hrs in advance, esp if chilled.

Limited Availability. Treat your dog to a healthy and delicious drink besides just water after they exercise. DoggyRade is a healthy prebiotic drink that supports good intestinal health in dogs. It's isotonic & contains electrolytes to help dogs rehydrate quickly. I learned about it through a K9 trainer. My dogs love it! It's easy on the stomachs of sensitive tummies & was recommended by my vet to keep my dog hydrated when she had diarrhea. Comes in a reclosable pouch.

Fire Log & Colored Flames8 credits

Firepit is free upon request. Fire available for purchase with color flame packets included. Flame lighter included for use, but not for purchase. Pease leave it on small wooden side table behind the workshop.

Hot Chocolate or Coffee2 credits

12-16 oz per serving in insulated thermos. For coffee, please specify in a message to me if sugar/artificial sweetener/half&half/non-dairy creamer needed. Please leave unfinished drink in the thermos (do not dump in yard) and leave on the wooden small table behind the workshop.

Raised Dog Cot/Bed4 credits

Med or large raised dog cot/bed for training or just lounging with your dog around the firepit or just relaxing.

S'mores Kit for 2-4 ppl5 credits

Graham crackers, Heeshey's chocolate bars, and large marshmallows for four s'mores. Comes with marshmallow roasting sticks (not for purchase; must be returned) and some extra marshmallows for roasting.

Two beach chairs5 credits

Two beach chairs provided to use anywhere on the property. Please fold them up and leave them in the covered area in back of the workshop by the toys.
