55Amazing space
55Loved this spot so so much! So open and clean with plenty of things for dogs to see and smell. My dog loved playing in the water & chasing things around. 1000% worth the drive to let my dog run and play!
55Olive had a BLAST here!! There is nothing she loves more than a combination of pond water and running in circles without other dogs - she got her fill of both until she was fully tuckered out. We will definitely be back!
55Beautiful property! My dogs had a great time.
55Great spot my dog loved it
55Sable had the best time ever! Paid for a playdate and she got to hang out with three Goldens and fetch around the pond
55Great time!
55We had an amazing time here!! It’s a beautiful piece of land & I can’t wait to see the pond when we’re not in a drought, although even today the dogs loved it. Didn’t see any hazards at all. It’s convenient because the car is close by yet we can walk further away & it feels more like exploring. Will definitely come again!
55Super fun. My dogs and I both loved it.
55We had an awesome time and the property was perfect for running around and rolling in the grass/dirt.

Fencing details:

There is plenty of open space. FYI: I have perimeter fencing but most of it is barbed wire…some of it has been swapped out for field fence…but it is a slow process. If your dogs have issues running off, I suggest you stay in the middle o...

Hazards

As with any country destinations in Texas, potential hazards include fire ants, sand/grass burrs, nettle, thistle, snakes, scorpions, etc. My property is well-maintained, which helps minimize the risks…but it is impossible to guaranty that you will not encounter a hazard. If you have any issues, I am usually up at my house - don’t hesitate to reach out to me (or even come up personally in case of an emergency). Thankfully, we have had no SniffSpot incidents/emergencies - hopefully we can keep it that way! :) SUMMERTIME HAZARDS IN TEXAS: Hopefully, everyone is aware of the dangers that rise with the rising temperatures. Obviously, there are heat exposure risks. However, there are also water body risks. Although we think of ponds, lakes & streams as a cooling treat for our dogs, they can also be potentially harmful (especially with drought conditions & high temperatures). FYI: You may have heard of blue-green algae being found in various bodies of water across the country. This can be deadly. Although many try, it is impossible to determine if it is harmful Cyanobacteria (a/k/a blue-green algae) without properly testing it. We have no current issue but when there are drought conditions and water levels are low and temperatures are high, stuff like this is always a possibility. Lady Bird Lake in Travis County is just one of many Texas bodies of water with it at various times. As summer continues, algal blooms are always a risk in water bodies across the state & southern US. Stay safe out there!
