Poochie Garden is a sensory experience with plenty of shade and room to zoom! Warm-weather water features include a 2×3×1' pup pool for wading and splashing, plus a tiered ceramic fountain, both with solar-powered pumps. Turf includes bare dirt, cypress and cedar mulch, short grass, and large beds of tall ornamental grass as natural snuffle spots, plus a sand digging garden along with varied natural rock, cobblestone, and wooden deck walking surfaces - all securely contained within a 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Treat-tipping bottles, a rocker balance board, agility weaving-pole and jump-hurdle practice walk (for an intro, not for speed), a stump walk, a curated selection of toys, and plenty of other sensory experiences add to your pup's best day. Bring kibble or treats to challenge your hound to the mental stimulation of a puzzle or two. Pup-safe plantings of marigolds, spearmint, strawberry, catnip, wheat grass, lavender, thyme, oregano, phlox, and more offer your pooch plenty to explore, sniff, and nibble. Humans can rest in the chairs on the deck or in the garden and enjoy the sounds of water, chimes, and birds while your pooch plays. Seasonal and static picturesque photo ops are plentiful! Include a human friend or two and their dogs in your reservation if you'd like to share the garden experience! Note that there are a few steps and slopes into and around the yard that may impact access for those with mobility challenges and limitations. Poochie Garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat, so you may encounter birds, rabbits, toads, butterflies, spiders, bees, and other friends while you visit. Please enjoy their presence and do no harm. Exercise caution when walking on uneven natural rocks, on unleveled ground, through leaves and vines, and in tall grasses. Climbing roses on trellises do have thorns. Pup-safe plantings are marked; do not allow your dog to nibble on unmarked plants.

Celebrate your pup's special day at Poochie Garden! I provide homemade pup cups garnished with garden goodies for the guest of honor and each pal. I customize the "Celebrate" display with birth or gotcha age, hang the fancy cake decor, set out tiered cake interactive dog puzzle with Zuke's PB & Oat treats, provide photo props, and convert the digging garden to a ball pit for the occasion. Up to 8 humans may attend. *Book each dog - up to 4. *Book 2 hours minimum. *Requires 24-hour notice.

I'll set up the Keurig and provide coffee and hot chocolate for each human (limit 2 humans per dog) to enjoy while you're here when you choose this Extra. Just let me know how many humans to expect!

Self-Serve Garden Bath$20

Does your pup need a bath? I set up our XL Booster Bath with 3-point tether and provide the shampoo and towel so you can safely bathe right here in the garden! Booster Bath eliminates issues with home bathing: slipping and sliding, chasing the shampoo bottle (and your pup), backaches from bending over, lifting your pup into and out of the tub and messy bathroom cleanups. Solar-heated water and the serene garden setting makes bathing even more enjoyable! *Requires 2-hour advance purchase.

Additional rules

Proof of vaccination required for all dogs. Maximum one car, two humans per dog. No dogs or humans in vegetable/fruit/herb gardens, in garage, or in house. Please discourage digging outside of the digging garden and repair any holes. No smoking, vaping, or alcohol.

I heard all about Poochie Garden prior to visiting, and was still pleasantly surprised by this little gem! Gwen is an impeccable host who arranged a welcoming and inviting entry. There are tables and chairs as well as shade, and she provided water for the humans and dogs.. Most importantly, Gwen thoughtfully arranged the space in order to maximize enrichment opportunities for dogs. There are tons of nooks and crannies for exploration, a dig pit, an agility walk, a cabinet with additional options, and so much more! It's a shame I am just passing through. If I were fortunate enough to live nearby, we would return here again and again in order to help provide for my dog's enrichment needs. Thank you so much for letting us visit!

The hostess was very friendly and hospitable. She has created an environment that is as comfortable for humans as it is for the pups. Our pups thoroughly enjoyed sniffing and exploring.

If you have wanted to visit the Poochie Garden but haven’t yet here is your sign to DO IT! My dog, Louie is socially selective and can often be reactive in the wrong environment. He felt so comfortable and was able to explore a surrounding that was not his own backyard. This was so rewarding for him and many ways. The environment the Poochie Garden provides is so fun for the pup but also so peaceful for the pet parent. Louie and I are over the moon!

This spot is amazing! Our two beagle mixes loved taking in all the sights and smells. They were fascinated by all the plants. By the time we left, they were so tired that they snoozed the whole ride home. There were plenty of fun activities, including puzzles and an agility walk, which we’ll have to do next time when we can stay longer. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I spoil our rescue Pomsky. We built him a back yard of his doggy dreams, and we can't wait to share it with you and your pooch!

The Clover Patch

We may not have clover 100% of the year but we are turning our yard into a local plant and wildlife sanctuary and cutting back on just grass. We currently still have a large grassy area in both shade and sun but plan to have more and more diverse plants as time goes on. As extras we have a hose with a sprinkler attachment, a dog sized pool and homemade dog treats. For everyone we have sticks and balls for you to use or bring your own. We have a large double lot on the side of the house for your dog to have plenty of space to run and play. Our cancellation policy: if you get here and the weather is not perfect but it’s what was forecast, we do not refund your money. If there is a sudden storm or unpredicted downpour please cancel if you can before arriving. if it should start while you are here and you have to leave we will give you a refund if you did not get the major part of your visit.

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
	This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
	Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
	Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
