Welcome to our backyard—your pup’s new favorite place to play! 🐾 As a dog owner myself (with two of my own plus a foster!), I know how important it is to have a safe, secure space where dogs can run, sniff, and just be dogs. Not everyone has access to a fenced-in yard, and I wanted to open up mine so more pups can enjoy that freedom and quality time with their humans. This space is loved daily by my own dogs and foster pups, so it’s dog-tested and approved for play, zoomies, and relaxing outdoor time. I’m also the founder of Rescue Detroit Animals, a nonprofit dedicated to saving and rehoming dogs in need. For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy! Winter: This Sniffspot will be open all winter. ***The snow isn’t always plowed immediately. We do our best. You may have to walk from the road (if the city also has plowed). Use your discretion.
