Cleanliness

96% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

My neighbors have a greyhound behind a fence that will bark if you walk right up on the fence. This is toward the beginning of the trail. There is some poison oak if you get really far off the trail. Also some people may be up on the public fire road which is where my trail ends. This is not in my control. If you’re going to have a reactive dog off leash, hike at your own risk, it’s possible somewhere off in the distance, your dog could see another dog.

I loved this place and should have booked longer than an hour. The host was extremely kind and welcoming, reminding us there were bathrooms, a fridge if needed, and water. The grounds are vast and clean, with beautiful views. My doggy, Lulu, loved it. There are multiple trails and signs at the head to guide you (if you pay attention)

One of the coolest spots I've seen! The trails are really nice and clear with signage around the spot to help you navigate. We found several really nice viewpoints, and a spot to play fetch. I would definitely dress for a bit of a hike with this one with some sturdy shoes. 1000000% recommend and would visit again!

There is a sign showing where to park your car, just look down at curb level as opposed to eye level. There is a sign on the bridge to the left as you walk in indicating the path. There are several other signs pointing to other trails to the right, however, I am not clear if we are allowed to go on them. Once you walk up the Sniffspot trail, it can get a little steep. Continue on the fence line and we think if you cross over a wire that is where the open dog run is, but we were not 100% sure as we didn’t have to cross a wire. beautiful views didn’t see of another person or any other dogs. Overall great experience dogs loved it and it was quite relaxing to be on the trails.

The spot was great. I didn’t walk the fire road, I just stuck to the short trails around the hill. The trails on the hill were rugged but short and easy to follow. My 13y/o beagle went up no problem.

This is one of the coolest sniffspots I’ve taken my dogs to! They LOVED getting to hike off leash and had a blast sniffing around. We didn’t run into anyone and had an easy time finding the start of the trail. Highly recommend to anyone looking to do something different with their dog!

This was our first Sniffspot and my boy Kuma loved it! He’s a seasoned hiker so it was really great to explore on the trails off leash. The instructions were clear and there were a few Sniffspot signs (even for parking) to indicate we were going the right way. We’re looking forward to returning!

Awesome to find a Sniffspot that’s not just a backyard! Getting a wild, sprawling trail all to yourself is worth the drive. The trails can be a little confusing but Robin is very friendly and helpful.

Amazing spot!! Our dog had a blast as she loves hiking off leash. It was a little confusing where the trail started and ended. We had trouble figuring out what was part of the sniff spot and what was public trail. We ran into another person with a reactive dog who told us we were on a public trail. Our dog is dog friendly so was not taken back and she had a blast. Probably a fault of ours but something to look out for.

Host replied: Our trail is adjacent to a public road about 100 ft away and once in a while people will get lost on our land despite the no trespassing signs…. We try our best

Great trail, lots of sniffing! Perfect space to build confidence in my reactive dog. Enjoyed the hour in the sun and the native plants all around!

What a fabulous piece of property perfect to hike up a beautiful trail. Wonderful spot for your dog to get some good exercise and you to breathe fresh air. Easy to find, parking space just for you and the host, Robin was very kind and friendly. Bear and I’ll be back for sure.
