JJ's Bark Park and Pool in the West Valley

A rustic, ranch terrain private 2 lot backyard with a pool, zipline (150 LB limit PLEASE), treehouse, foosball, croquet and trampoline. The fun dogs really love the trampoline. Many venture into the treehouse. Chasing a kid down the zipline is very exciting. Beware of mole holes and where dogs have dug up the yard. Again, rustic! Lots of dirt and unlevel terrain, so flip flops are for the pool area only. Wear shoes if you’re venturing into the yard, easement, treehouse, and unbuildable yard up the hill. Water bowl is by the hose. Please refill them for the next guests. Feel free to hose down the pooches if necessary. It gets hot and dusty! Some of them like drinking from the hose which is fine, just try to aim it away from dirt areas so there’s less mud baths for those crazy dogs to roll around in please. This family loves dogs, and we just lost one of our own and often board other dogs. They may be jealous and bark to let us know they want to play or they’re warning us there’s someone in “their” yard. If you don’t like barking, don’t come here. Our neighbors dogs bark too. Pending your arrival and leave time there may be other dog poop that we haven’t been able to get to or other sniffspotters missed, so just get your own doggies poop if you can catch it. Pay it forward if you notice one someone may have missed. It happens. We have a bucket and poop grabber available. Just leave it in there. We’ll take care of it. If you insist on using your own bags, please only use disposable environmentally safe ones as this area has been zoned for composters and all poop bags and poop go in the green bin in the driveway. If they aren’t the biodegradable kind, please take your poop bags with you. There is a yellow pitcher for the boy dogs who love to pee on things. IF you catch them peeing on the chairs, perhaps you could help yourself and other guests not to smell it by filling that pitcher with pool water and pouring it onto the marked territory. Thanks! You will find various remnants and maybe even newer toys strewn across the yard. They’re there to be enjoyed by all the doggies. The pool is for the dogs and you too! Bring your towels and swimsuit. Bring a friend or two, no extra charge. Safety in numbers. We want this space to be used by others at a reasonable rate financially and good time investment. So please, please clean up after yourselves, so we don’t have to hire someone to be on staff to clean up and raise the rate or shut this thing down. This includes skimming the dog fur off the top of the water, removing debris you dragged in, and reconnecting the pool sweep if you or your dogs disconnected it. Play and swim at your own risk. If you have any questions about anything, please ask. There is lots of seating to watch the pool activity if you have that lab that needs pretend they’re at the lake. Ask Alexa (in a red lantern next to the door by the tiki bar)to play whatever music you want. Picnic at the fire table or on the back deck. If ya find a table dusty, some rags and windex are at the tiki bar. If you spill something, please clean it up for the next guest. IF YOUR DOGS ARE USING THE POOL, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO CLEAN UP THE FUR WITH THE NET PROVIDED OR PRICES WILL GO UP OR YOU WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. THANK YOU!

The Pawfect Escape: Private Fenced Yard in Burbank

***Last minutes bookings always welcome!*** I’m new to Sniffspot, so I’m offering a low introductory rate right now to help folks discover my place before prices go up. Welcome to The Pawfect Escape — where leashes come off, zoomies begin, and tails never stop wagging! 🐾 Tucked away in a quiet Burbank neighborhood, this fully fenced private backyard is your pup’s personal paradise. With approximately 3,000 square feet of open space, there’s plenty of room to run, sniff, roll, explore, and do whatever makes your dog’s heart sing. Easy to find, even easier to love: enter on the right side of the house and look for the Sniffspot sign. The gate is one of the smoothest you’ll ever use — seriously, it’s a delight. Morning visits are especially magical. The sun is gentle, the vibe is peaceful, and street parking is usually a breeze. Street sweeping is 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays on my side of the street and Wednesdays on the opposite side, so please check the signs when you park. Just a friendly heads-up: our neighbors have dogs on the other side of the fence. You won’t see them, but you may hear the occasional bark. Most pups settle right in and forget all about it! 🐕 There’s a water spigot on site to keep your pup hydrated. Just turn it on slowly so you don’t end up wetter than your dog! 💧 We also have a self-service pool on site if your pup wants to cool off! It's not pre-filled — you're welcome to fill it yourself (it takes about 10 minutes to fill completely). Please drain it after use and give it a quick rinse so it's fresh for the next sniffer! I originally created this yard for my own dogs to have a fun, secure place to play, and I'm excited to share it with other pups and their people. DOGGIE SWIM IS AN EXTRA ! Fully fenced in backyard .Private neighborhood in Van Nuys. $21 a pup . The park will be closed on most Wednesdays for pool and yard maintenance but check schedule. Please Note: the swimming pool is for the dogs unless you are helping them in or out of the pool, or training in the shallow end . You are, of course, allowed in the pool during that time. THE POOL IS CONSIDERED AN EXTRA ! PLEASE REFER TO PRICE LIST . Please be honest during your booking . ONE PARENT ONE POOCH ONLY unless prearranged. I will be charging $10 extra if other people show up . There is absolutely no diving , jumping , or doing laps. Please refrain from using Hawaiian Tropic or other suntan products that cloud the water and please BRUSH YOUR PUP before swim to reduce fur in pool. If your pup is prone to excessive shedding or barking we would not be a good match. If you have a dog under 10lbs please let me know ahead of your visit as I have pressure gates for use to prevent your pup from getting through the wrought iron gate . NO CHILDREN!
