We’re open 7 days a week 6a - 9p with lights to illuminate late night and early morning visits. Located just 5 minutes from Target in Concord, NH, Howling Pines offers approximately 1 fully fenced acre of mixed terrain for running, sniffing, exploring, playing, or simply enjoying some off-leash freedom. The entire Sniffspot is enclosed with 5-foot-tall, 14-gauge welded livestock wire fencing with approximately 2" x 4" openings, providing a secure boundary while maintaining the natural, open feel of the property. Please see photos of fencing included in the listing. Our Sniffspot sits on a private 6.5-acre property, set back more than 350 feet from a quiet, dead-end residential street. The space combines a grassy backyard with cleared, tree-covered woods, giving dogs plenty of room to explore different sights, smells, and terrain. Approximately 2/3 of the Sniffspot is wooded, making it especially fun for dogs who love to sniff, wander, and investigate. Designed for Safe, Easy Arrivals: We know that getting in and out safely can be one of the most stressful parts of visiting a new place, especially with reactive, nervous, excited, or escape-prone dogs. That’s why the entrance to Howling Pines features a double-gated airlock located directly beside your designated parking area, allowing you to move from your vehicle into the Sniffspot quickly and securely. Stay & Play After Dark and Early Morning Hours: Early sunset or late sunrise shouldn't stop you or your pups from having fun. The yard is lit for evening and early morning visits, making it easier for you and your dog to continue enjoying the space after the sun goes down, especially during our shorter New England fall and winter days. All lights are solar powered and motion activated. Welcome to our fully secured pup paradise! Our property has no resident dogs or other animals, making it the ultimate stress-free sanctuary. We feature a 6-foot solid wooden privacy fence enclosing a spacious, nearly quarter-acre grass yard—perfect for reactive, anxious, or high-energy dogs who need room to sprint without outside distractions. Human guests can relax comfortably under our shaded gazebo while dogs explore. We provide everything you need for a perfect visit, including fresh water, clean toys, and a fully stocked waste station (pooper scooper, bags, and dedicated trash bin). Come enjoy a completely private, safe playdate!" We would be honored to share our yard with you and your furry friend. We recently lost our Dog, Bailey Boots who loved to sunbathe and was an anxious reactive dog so this was her safe space. We hope this is the same for you and yours. Note: There are neighbor dogs who go out 2x a day for no longer than 10 min to the right side of our yard. We have 2 indoor cats but they can’t be seen if you are in the yard.

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too. The front of the yard features a 6-foot privacy fence, while the rest is enclosed with a combination of 6-foot wood, chain link, and heavy-duty wire fencing. It’s fully secure and suitable for both large and small dogs. Your pup will love exploring the variety of scents left behind by local wildlife—birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and the occasional raccoon or fox make for an exciting visit! Looking forward to sharing this space with others with solo doggos! My pup, Queenie, has very limited view to the fenced in yard (which note: it wraps around the house!) The property is treated with pet safe tick and mosquito treatment so when the grass is long, it is fun to play in without worry. The grass is currently short as we prepare for the winter. The garden beds are also done for the season, there is one pumpkin growing but everything is non toxic and dogs can romp around them all they want. Let me know if you need anything!

If you would like to use one or all, just message me through sniffspot and let me know so I can have it out for you. - For doggie play-dates, one person should book for all attendees. - You can park on the street or in the driveway when available. - The pool is protected by a fence in the winter and open in the summer. Access to the pool is blocked by a gate on the deck stairs. - After a lot of rain we sometimes get muddy puddles. - The yard has grass, flowers, woods, a kiddie pool, access to a hose, water bowl, dog toys, a place for pet parents to sit and relax while the doggos play. - Its probably a bit more than a 1/2 acre fenced with grass and a wooded trail. There will almost always be someone home during any visit as I work from home. We have dogs and I will lock them inside the house while we have visitors. Rules: 1. We would appreciate a 24 hour notice for all reservation changes or cancellations. 2. If you have more than 2 cars attending at the same time, please park at North Broadway Crossing. 3. Only one booking is in the yard at a time. 4. Due to the pool, no person under 18 is allowed on the property without adult supervision. 5. It is crucial that you arrive during and only stay for the time booked because another family may be booked directly after you or I could have my dogs in the yard if you are there outside of your booked time and I wouldn't want an unexpected encounter.
