Description

Hawk Farms is a newly developing Equine and K9-Dog Park. We have completed our Indoor facility, ideal for dog shows and small indoor agility courses. We are finishing our 35000 square foot Outdoor Versatility course, available for immediate bookings now, but many improvements and expansions will happen over the next few months. The farm is 100+ acres of a combination a woods, hay fields, crop land, 3 acre lake, mowed recreational area, hiking trails and a nice easy access parking area for cars and trucks with or without trailers. The farm is just 5 miles west of Massillon, Ohio. We are close to Amish Country if you’re coming in from far away. It is in proximity to Pizza shops, a convenience shop with sandwiches and snacks, a gas station, a Dollar Store and easy access to Rt. 30 heading east and west and Rt. 21 for North and South access. We do a fair amount of wildlife management on our farm, so seeing Deer, Turkey, Geese, and all kinds of other animals is fairly common. Our lake is fully stocked with lots of exotic fish including Paddlefish, Sturgeon and other fun things to see while walking its mowed perimeter. We have a picnic pavilion on site for relaxing after your walk or for just visiting with friends who might join you. The property is not fully fenced, so we recommend keeping your pet on a leash, so they don’t end up chasing a deer and get lost. If you have any special needs for your training or group activities. Please reach out and we’ll see if we can accommodate them. There is also a small semi-public park very near to our farm if larger events need additional parking in the future. *** Indoor arena time booking is handled slightly differently, because it is booked mostly for horses. If you need Indoor arena time specifically, I will have to manually book you on an equine calendar as well at the same time. Message me for additional information as needed. Obstacles are not always set up in the Indoor unless groups are interested in booking for a training clinic.

We have one full acre fully fenced with 4' high goat/sheep woven wire fencing. About 1/3 of it is open grassy field and the other 2/3 is nice shady woods. We in the process of over seeding the field to make the grass more lush this spring. We have added a few surprises down in the woods to make it more fun for our guests and their fur babies. There is an open lean-to where there are dog toys like frisbees and balls availble. There is also be a cute backdrop as a photo op for the dogs.

There is a small cattle farm to one side, and is otherwise landlocked, aside from the 400 foot entrance. The trails are not professional, and the location offers a wilderness of fun. Stay on the trail, or don't. Let your dog go where it's nose leads! There is partial fencing on two sides. If you come on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday, finish your experience by visiting Silver Run Winery, which boarders the property. Email with any questions!
