Playful Pups Retreat – Hershey Road Dog Splashpad A private, dog-only water play experience designed for safe, enriching fun. Treat your dog to a one-of-a-kind Splashpad experience at Playful Pups Retreat. This clean, professionally maintained space is designed specifically for dogs to enjoy safe water play, cooling off, and enrichment in a private setting. Guests also have access to a large grass yard for additional running and exploration. The Splashpad Sniffspot yard at our Hershey Road location is available on Saturdays and Sundays only, offering a quiet, self-service environment while our facility is closed. Please note that this is a dog-only Splashpad. For safety reasons, children are not permitted to run or play on the Splashpad. While most visits are quiet and private, we do offer dog training classes onsite on some weekends. Guests may see people or dogs arriving, though they use a separate entrance. This is important to consider for dogs who may be reactive. This is a self-service experience, as staff are not typically onsite during weekend rentals. Clear operating instructions are provided to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. We take great pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed environment and appreciate your partnership in caring for the space during your visit. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG. Enjoy our perfect, not so perfect oasis while you visit! We have 3 Australian shepherds that enjoy our yard so much that they wanted to share it with you. We can leave a water dish as well as poo bags and a scoop, whatever you choose. We also have corn hole/ladder toss available if you would like to play while watching your pup(s) play! (Please ask in advance for yard games and I’ll put them out) Parking is in the driveway, you simply enter the backyard through the gate on the left. Please make sure to close the gate behind you. Grill is not available for use. Both shed and home are locked at all times. Please clean up after your dog(s) and watch them carefully. Take care of my things as you would your own. We hope you enjoy as much as we do! Disclaimer: We HAVE ring security cameras at both the entrance and rear of home. Another thing I’d like to add is: While we are at work, our dogs ARE inside and you will most likely hear them barking. If you’d rather have less distractions to enhance your time, I’d recommend booking during evening hours (after 5:30 PM) to give me an opportunity to get my dogs out of the house and/or on the weekend with notice. We also live next to a major highway, separated by a large sound barrier, but not recommended for dogs with high sound sensitivity.

Welcome to our backyard oasis. Our yard offers 1.5 acres of land, including a large fenced in area and a private creek front section for your dog to get in the water and play. Enjoy the table and chairs to relax, surrounded by nature. Frequent Bald Eagle sightings. No need to worry about going to a public creek when you can have private access right here. There is also a large area that is not fenced in if your dog is trained off leash.

Conewago Woods and Water "Sniff-Fest"

If you want complete privacy then this is your spot. Dogs run through the woods and get to sniff nature and even go to the creek for a private swim on the beautiful Conewago creek. Clear and wide walking paths for the owners. I also train dogs for unleashed activities just like what our property offers.
