Please see the Extras section for cost & details. 🐾 Included with Your Visit: We provide a variety of shared outdoor play items for your use, including balls, frisbees, throwers, bubbles, waste bags, water access, and shaded rest areas. Guests are welcome to use what’s available and return items when finished. 🚻 Guest Convenience: A half bathroom and small rest/snack nook are available inside the back garage, accessible via the side door during your visit. ⚠️ Important Note for Reactive Dogs: There are two very small neighboring dogs who may occasionally be seen or heard along a portion of the left-side fence in the backyard. To get down to the creek, you’ll have to hike down a semi-steep hill. Once you get down the hill, there is a long stretch of woods to walk. Sometimes creek is dry.

Field & Trees 10 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Homerville

We are Dan & Laura. We own 3+ acres of a cleared, mowed grass field area PLUS 7 acres of wooded ‘truck width’ trails. The trails are maintained with our mower, so no or minimal brush on them, making them easy to navigate. They are also color coded marked for ease of sense of direction. These woods are ‘working’ woods, as we harvest fallen trees to use for heat, so it is NOT Metro Park pristine! The trails are dirt, of course, and will be muddy- according to the weather conditions… However…. There always seems to be trails that maintain their drained dryness more than others. Our trails cover the entire perimeter of the property! They weave in and out among themselves! Quite a fun adventure! Pictured are wildlife- however- there is absolutely no guarantee you will see any. We have NO domestic deer like most suburbs do, so there may be NO sightings- just hoof prints. You have access to warm hose water during the cooler/ cold months. You are permitted to smoke and bring a cooler. If bringing kids please let me know. I will try to plant a feather or something for them to ‘find’ - You will pick up a sheet upon arrival, and parking is on site.

There is a small hill that is perfect exercise for the active pups as well as flat area for the older pups. There is a large patio with chairs that overlook the yard for you to relax on while yours dogs are exploring the yard. I have dog toys, water bowl, hose, trash can, poop bags for your convenience. This 7 acres features a fully wooded experience with trails, a creek, and plenty of room to run. There is a small cattle farm to one side, and is otherwise landlocked, aside from the 400 foot entrance. The trails are not professional, and the location offers a wilderness of fun. Stay on the trail, or don't. Let your dog go where it's nose leads! There is partial fencing on two sides. If you come on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday, finish your experience by visiting Silver Run Winery, which boarders the property. Email with any questions!
