Field of Frolic is here to enjoy!

The Field is mowed and fenced, ready for your dog to play! Come experience your own personal dog park. A 5’ fence surrounds this expanse of green with several shade trees for relaxing under. A wading pool is provided to ensure ample access to water and a place to cool down on hot days. A convenient garbage can for poop bags waits by the entrance, with a fresh supply of baggies! The small deck box holds a chuck-it with extra balls and some other toys for sharing. Human water is also provided ☺️ Comfy benches inside the Field allow humans to rest while the doggies run and explore. When arriving, look for signage that will guide you to the grey garage. The entrance to the ‘Field of Frolick’ is the chain link gate to your right. Hose can be activated at the front of the garage if you need more water, as well as a power outlet. If we have a lot of rain, there may be some mud along the far side of the field. Walk carefully, many holes have been dug… Welcome to the Field and enjoy!

Fully fenced quarter acre yard with grass and trees. We have a couple small wading pools and drinking water for the dogs. We have a hose near the metal cabinet that has filtered water and we also have store-bought water in the metal cabinet until we get a regular fountain / faucet put in. We plan on setting up some more agility items. We have doggy bags for clean up and a trash can along with a can / bottle recycling container. . Hand sanitizer and a couple of toys in case your dog forgot to bring theirs. We Have easy parking that is off of the road near the dog Park entrance. If your dog is a hole digger that is perfectly fine, in fact we encourage it LOL but please don't worry about filling in the hole I will come down there after each visit and fill that in. We want your dogs to enjoy doing what they do. If I have overlooked anything or you have any suggestions or ideas that you want to present please feel free to do so. We spray organic spray to eliminate fleas and follow-up sprays to prevent and maintain fleas and ticks. Be aware when you book an appoint:ment that the lowest part of our fence is 4 ft tall in case you have a jumper :-) also if your dog has a birthday coming up on a day that you're planning to visit you can let me know. We provide a special little something for that special occasion. You can send me a text message two, three days or more prior to your visit if you would like this for your dog. Happy Apple Dog Park

Happy Apple Dog Park-AKA Gus’ Park is a fully fenced yard with lawn and some bark dust and gravel. There are multiple shrubs, trees and plants for your furry companion to check out. A farm favorite are the giant oak trees which provide shade. Feel free to take a seat and watch your friend run and explore! On site we have a small dog (23lbs) and a multiple cats as well as two horses. The neighbors on both sides have dogs but there is no contact-just line of sight! We are located not too far off of I-5 and Highway 22. Our spot is a great stop if you are traveling and need to let the dogs out for a romp and a place for you to rest. There is plenty of room for trailer turn-around if needed (please message me about that.) If you are looking for a place you can eat that is near our spot, please look at The Yard Food Park. The Peach Place 1.25 Fenced Acres

Close to downtown Corvallis, come let your dog run free and just be a dog for a little while. Our newly fenced in area is a work in progress and we will be adding more things to do for pups and their humans. If there is anything you would like to see added in the future, please don't hesitate to let us know. We also have chickens that have decided to go into overdrive in the egg laying department so we also have eggs for sale. Send a message our way if you'd like us to set some out for you.

Tail Waggers private dog park

Your attendance has allowed us to continue development of our Disney Land for dogs and being a contributor to the Portland Humane Society. Toward that end this is what we have to offer at present with more to come. Two main walking trails, with two offshoot trail loops at present. Signage is there at each to help you in and out of each. Each has a selection of walking sticks at the trailhead, should you choose to use them. Appropriate good grip footwear is recommended especially during our monsoon season. Trail one, the shorter of the two, is about 25 minutes give or take, and takes a degree of dexterity more than trail too. Trail two contains two loops trails that take 30 to 45 minutes there and back to the parking area. The trail has two rest areas to sit with umbrellas to keep the rain off when needed. Trail 2, loop two has large Vern plant areas like you may have seen in the Jurassic Park movies.  There are (2) Two parking areas, one much larger for up to 25 cars to accommodate larger group events. The 2nd is at the top of the hill b4 you go down into valley were you will see a sign letting you know that if your early you can park there till your designated reservation time. At the bottom you will find a porta potty for your convenience with a lighted pathway after the sun has set. For your convenience you will find seven Poop Depots with bag dispensers throughout the park. A guest ( Mark) donated a fire hydrant as a much appreciated pee station for many pups. There are two water play areas. The preferable one is now down by our inlet water pipes. Its a shallow pool area feed by spring water, so there is no concern about algae. We call it the pup self wash area because it’s only belly deep and is an absolute favorite of the pups to play in. It’s also proved to help pups who might be afraid or timid of playing in water to investigate it a little more. The other is the larger man-made pond area. This at one time was a large beautiful pond, that we had invested a large amount of money to development a Doggie Dock Dive. We had also a selection of small watercraft to help acclimate pups to being on the water with a parent. It included a selection of different size lifejackets for parents and pups. Floatable toys for retrieval were nearby. All that however became unusable because our neighbor who controls the water level with a dam did not like us having a private dog park and said if we didn’t shut it down he would just empty the pond, which he ultimately did and mow as a result has become a mud flat. We have a solution that will bring the level back up and have set up a Go Fund Me to help us with that expense. Any donation would receive a gift certificate to show our appreciation. They can use it for their own use or it can be given to a non Sniff Spot member to use at our park for various functions. Our Muddy Paw Spa has multiple cleaning brushes, paw wash cups, a spray hose and the more favorite is a water spray wash glove that sprays water out of the palm of the glove. This is an important option especially during our monsoon season to clean pups and shoes before getting into the car. Included, are multiple towels to dry off your pup, and a close line to hang the wet towels on to dry off. In the area where you see all the picnic tables, you will see a Doggie Dig Box filled with beach sand for those pups who have the need to just dig. Near to that is an upright 50 Pd “Tug of War” that big pups love. Next is a childrens play area to play in and on. We installed a tetherball for the children, but soon learned that the pups love playing with it, who would have guessed? Down from the children’s play area is a comprehensive agility course with all the obstacles that you would see on the YouTube obstacle course events. Love seeing the pups racing around that. Multiple toy stations. If on your visit, you would like to donate unused toys for other pups to enjoy that would certainly be appreciated. A long mowed area above the pond for long distance ball and frisbee retrieval. They’re also a few frisbee catchers there to practice frisbee throwing accuracy. Long, medium range and putter frisbees are provided. A 10 x 10 doggy dig sandbox for those pups to enjoy digging. A tug-of-war for those pups will enjoy a good tug. The picnic area has been expanded to accommodate pup, birthday parties, pup, groups, and family gatherings. For those bringing young children, a swingset. Solar lighting around trees, parking area and the porta potty will help to illuminate these areas when darkness falls. There are water dispensers with water bowls. There is another area being developed presently that will become an urban agility course.
