Description

12.5 acres. No fence. Good for dog and people swimming! They can free if they are off leash trained! There is a wide open space up front or if you choose to go around the back of the house there is a sand beach that is shallow at the sand area. Ask all guests to come and leave during your time slot. I have a dog that is not friendly with others. So it’s important for the safety of everyone to come during your slot. The water has a blue dye that is safe for people and animals. It’s a dye that aids in blocking uv rays. Please be sure to check weather. If we get heavy rain it can get muddy in areas. Garbage by our barn see photos. Check parking info. Do not park and block the garages. There is a picture under parking info. Hope you have a great stay. If your staying a bit longer pack a cooler, bring a wireless speaker. Enjoy!!! 🐾 🐾🐾🐾🐾

General safety guidelines: no fence. Geared more towards swimming dogs. No guest permitted to use water slide or entrance stairs to the slide. Also, pool and trampoline are not permitted! We have a dog that is NOT dog friendly at all. So this is important to not come during your reserved time to make sure dogs don’t meet. Sometimes other people that reserve time here also have a dog that is not dog friendly as Well, which is why coming and going during your reserved time is very important for the safety of everyone and their pets. Rinse him off after he’s been in any type of water. Seawater minerals, salt, chlorine, algae, and pollution can irritate or damage his skin and fur. Remove his flea collar before he swims. Water can wash off its active ingredients. Dry your dog’s ears completely to prevent an infection. Try an ear cleaner that has a drying agent in it. Learn canine CPR. Mouth-to-nose resuscitation and chest compressions could save a dog’s life in an emergency. Never leave your pal alone in the water. Safely swimming: Choose a quiet, shallow spot in the water. Keep your dog on a leash while he learns. Get into the water with him. Start at the edge of the water, and stay as long as he enjoys it. If he doesn't want to go, don’t force him in -- especially if it’s a deep spot. When your dog begins to paddle with his front legs, lift his hind legs to show him how to float. Rivers, lakes and ponds: Get your dog a life jacket, especially if you take him out on a boat or a dock. Steer clear of bodies of water with blue-green algae. It can make your buddy sick. (You can also search for your local area before you to go see if there are active warnings about algae) Check the current of a river or a creek. Make sure it isn’t too strong to let your dog swim. Keep your pal away from fishing gear. Sharp hooks and barbs can hurt him.

I Live on 12 plus acres with my husband, four children and our dog hazel. Hazel is a water dog. She loves to swim and try to catch fish at our beach area. We welcome you to come and bring the dogs and let them run and swim. The pond is safe for humans and dogs. Bring a ball or a frisbee, some towels. You are Welcome to get in the water as well. We do it all the time. There are fish, but they won’t bother you. Sit on any of the patio chairs . You can move some chairs to the beach area as well. There is a swing set for kiddos.
