This former cow farm and machine shop located in Mountain Rest, SC is the perfect variety of terrains, partially fenced pastures, and forest for dogs of all sizes and their caretakers. Our 50+ acres feature 2 fenced pastures (cattle fencing with large gates), a creek with a 25+ foot waterfall, large untamed forest areas, and so much more. The property is a 3 minute drive from Stumphouse Tunnel and Yellow Branch Trail. Less than a 10 minute drive from Downtown Walhalla, SC and all it has to offer. There's just too much here to list. My property is located on a long, gravel driveway (named by me as Maple Gap Rd) off Frozen Creek Road and just a short distance from the back entrance of Gorges State Park. Once turning onto Frozen Creek Road it’s about 1.3 miles on your right. You’ll see a small green sign saying Maple Gap Road and a Sniffspot sign. Parking is available beside the garage (looks like a house). Ok to park behind my silver truck that stays there. You’ll see a Sniffspot ‘park here’ sign, a dog waste station with bags, and a brown bench with tennis balls, water bowls, and bug spray in a storage bin under the seat. Access to the two small fields and stream is across the gravel driveway. My two homes on the property are vacation rentals by owner. If you see guests they may/may not have dogs.
