♡LGBTQIA+ friendly household♡ On behalf of Dicky & Miss Ava in doggy heaven, We welcome all shapes and sizes of course, but Dicky's Yard is just Perfect for little dogs with big energy! Quiet street with plenty of free parking, so you won't have any trouble finding a spot. Fully Fenced grass play area, with a garden for digging & burying doggie treasure. Defend the yard! Save us from butterflies, birds, squirrels, the occasional turkey, and the healthy weirdos walking the trails behind the house. Bark your vicious lil hearts out, send em back to the mall! We plan on adding many more ammenities, and we are open to suggestions from you!

Big dogs could dig under fence if not supervised. Train comes by between 9 and 10 am, can be very loud.

Additional rules

Because of our indoor cats we would prefer no one use the bathroom except in emergencies. Please knock on side door wait for someone to open the door. You are welcome to Sit and Relax of course, but please watch your dogs at all times. Please leave room for the mail truck, at least 5 feet on either side of mailbox. Variety of Sodas available for Purchase, $2 cash only knock on door. It is OK to use the hose, it takes a long time to turn on and many many turns to turn it off again. Please be patient and turn off fully.

In Memoriam of our beloved Miss Ava, Watching over us from doggy heaven. Who would be happy that we are putting the space to good use and to have all the dogs over to play! Although we no longer have the energy for a dog of our own, we are excited to meet yours! (Think of us as doggy grandparents) We do however Have two judgmental cats who will be watching you from the windows. Probably talkin Shih-tzu. Apologies but we cannot stop this.

DUE TO SNOW MELT, WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR RESERVATIONS A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage.

Please bring water.* The water is usually left ready to go, but the spigot on the side of the house is off. To use it, open the valve on the side of the house by the driveway. There is a shallow plastic splashpad for littles/nervous dogs- please add on as an extra (no cost/free) if you want it setup (see photos for details), it requires a special hose hookup so I don't set it out unless asked.
