55Nice spot! The way down to the creek is a bit challenging & if you have to keep your pup on a long line since there is no fenced they will get tangled up very quickly! But we still managed to have a great time :)
55This was such a cool spot! Plenty of space to run around and my pups had a blast exploring the creek - just have to be careful going down to it as thereโ€™s no like official path to get down there. Very secluded too which is great for my reactive dogs. Loved it, forgot to take any pictures but will definitely be back again!

25Property is as described (I guess) but was very dangerous terrain in the creek and we left after about 25 minutes. The upper backyard would work for very small dogs but not much for my dog. The lower yard is open and well maintained with an old pool deck with chairs. I did not find the access to the creek easy and not very accessible for owners. The only place to walk is in the water (which varies from 4โ€ to 3โ€™ in the same area we explored. The bank is overgrown with large drop offs that wasnโ€™t noticeable to my dog. We are up for an adventure but this just seemed unsafe for us

The property is split into two levels with the lower backyard level having creek access (not my property). Perfect for pups to cool off on hot summer days. HOST NOTE

Please be aware that the creek raises a good 3-4ft after a heavy rainfall!! Do NOT try to access the creek if you cannot see down to the creek bed as the current will be too fast to enter safely. Normal depths of the creek, without rainfall, typically range from a couple inches of flowing water at the entry point to about a foot deep in some spots. The water will be clear and you'll be able to spot minnows when it's safe to access the creek. Boots or waders recommended for owners and a towel to dry off your pups paws after the visit is a must, not provided by the host. There are no stairs for entry into the creek but only a short trip down the river bank. Please be careful when walking down the bank to get to the water. Lastly, please be aware that this is a wooded lot and sometimes trees drop debris (or even fall completely to the ground). You'll sometimes see wood piles as I try to keep up with Mother Nature. Any stick your pup finds on the property is now theirs if they want! If not, toss it back into the yard and I'll pick it up before the next mow. Thanks and enjoy!!

5 acres of reclaimed soybean field, that we fenced in for an additional pasture for our horses. When we fenced, we decided to use no-climb fence so we could have foster dogs explore off-leash. There are 5 gates in the fence, of which only the gate closest to the creek is not padlocked. Depending on the time of year, the prairie grasses and flowers are between ankle-high to knee-high. We do have a bench in the back of the pasture (which is normally in the shade of the trees), and the horse run-in is pretty useful as a rain shelter if needed. Feel free to let your doggo dig til their heart's content, and theres plenty of branches to chew on. There is a creek to cross between the parking area (our driveway) and the pasture, which is normally ankle-high, so we recommend either water shoes or muck boots to cross. Its roughly a 200-250ft walk from the driveway to the back pasture, and youre bound to see our lazy freeloading horses (fenced) and hear our dogs barking (also fenced). Needless to say, leashing your dog(s) from the car until the gate is closed, is required.
