If your dogs are into water sports, you've found the right place: There is a sloping bulkhead that eases into the water, 2-3 feet deep at the edge. PLEASE NOTE: Humans are not allowed in the lake, per Norfolk regs. The picturesque Wiseacre Estate has been an Airbnb for 10+ years, and now is also a private, peaceful retreat for your beloved doggies. * Hose and water bowl on-premises. Our fully fenced .3 acre backyard is a great spot to spend some quality outdoor time with your dog(s)! ALL are welcome as long as they can follow the safety rules. We love all breeds and do not discriminate! We are a rescue dog family, having been saved by our previous dog, Trixie! She lived to the amazing age of 20 and crossed the rainbow bridge comfortably at home in March of 2024. Lola now resides with us, a Greyhound/German Shepherd mix who was found on the interstate. She's quirky, anxious and weird so you probably won’t meet her, but we adore her. Please enjoy our yard as much as we do, and keep coming back! *Please be aware, our neighbors to the right and left have dogs and while we always alert them to upcoming reservations, we cannot guarantee nor are we liable for interactions through the fence with their dogs. Our unique Playground is perfect for the dogs who crave a diverse playground with many interesting activities. You can bring your dogs here to enjoy agility playsets, dip in the BPA free pools, take a bath, run like wild, chase, run through the tunnels, enjoy an astroturf grass run area, take photos, have a picnic under the shade while they run in full view of your supervision, and even to enjoy the grassy areas. If your dogs are allergic, this spot is ideal as the grass can be blocked off and you can keep them in the main areas of concrete, outdoor rugs, gravel, and artificial turf. There is so much variety here that your dogs will return home exhausted and sleep like babies!!! Ours do that every day, and we just adore the bliss they have here. There are also two playhouses to chase around and in and out of. We will fill 2 pools ahead if you wish, and any more pools, we can add as an extra if desired. You can choose to give your dog or dogs a bath here in the extras as well. If you have recently added a new fur baby to the family and another fur baby is struggling to get friendly with your new fur baby, here is a perfect place to practice intros and play, because we have fenced areas where new dogs can meet. This is ideal for meet and greets if you wish to book with a friend and their dog ... or if you wish to do a training session with your trainer here, because you can begin with a barrier that allows viewing without contact between parties. If you are being considered for fostering or adopting, but you need a safe neutral space for meetings to try meetings, here is a great place for this! We have been overwhelmed at the support our spot has been given by so many wonderful dogs and their humans. Currently, we are facing some unforeseen circumstances and hard decisions have had to be made.
