Welcome to our spacious, fully fenced yard – the perfect place for your pup to run, sniff, and explore! You’ll find easy street parking nearby – feel free to park in any available spot. Entry to the yard is through the gated door on the right side of the house, clearly marked with a Sniffspot sign. Our yard offers plenty of spaces for dogs of all sizes to roam freely and safely. Whether your dog loves to zoom, sniff every corner, or just relax in the sun, this is the spot! 🏃‍♂️🐕 We’ve also added some fun dog agility equipment, including hoop jumps and weave poles – great for active pups or training practice. For pet parents, there’s a cozy outdoor couch where you can kick back and unwind while your dog plays. We’ve stocked a black storage box with all the essentials: 🐾 Treats 💩 Poop bags 💧 Water bowls (small and large) 🎾 Dog toys 🗑️ Trash can and 💦 water source are located to the left of the steps. • To turn on the water, twist the handle counterclockwise, and turn clockwise to shut it off. • To get the water flowing, just pull the trigger foward on the nozzle. Come enjoy a fun, stress-free outing with your furry friend!

WELCOME TO WISEACRE NORFOLK! We're more than a year in on Sniffspot, and having a blast entertaining dogs and their humans! Two private landscaped acres for your babies to run, swim and play. Enjoy Adirondack chairs facing the lake or bring a blanket and enjoy tranquil views of Lake Whitehurst and Norfolk Botanical Garden, while watching planes take off from Norfolk Airport. If your dogs are into water sports, you've found the right place: There is a sloping bulkhead that eases into the water, 2-3 feet deep at the edge. PLEASE NOTE: Humans are not allowed in the lake, per Norfolk regs. The picturesque Wiseacre Estate has been an Airbnb for 10+ years, and now is also a private, peaceful retreat for your beloved doggies. * Hose and water bowl on-premises. Please park to the side of the garage and make your way around the left of the house to back yard. Kindly bring poop bags and pick up after your dog(s) (trash cans on red patio). Thank you and ENJOY! We have been overwhelmed at the support our spot has been given by so many wonderful dogs and their humans. Currently, we are facing some unforeseen circumstances and hard decisions have had to be made. That said, for the indefinite future, Penny’s Place will be open during the morning hours of 5 am until 8 am HOWEVER we will also take direct message requests for a time that works better for you. We are happy to work with you so please message me directly for a specific request. We understand the difficulty this might pose for you and we apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. Reopening full time will be a decision made in the future. We send you all of our gratitude for being a part of this wonderful Sniffspot family and hope to see you again on a more regular basis in the future. There is no way they can physically interact with your dog through the fence, but control of your dog must be your priority while walking to and from our property. Nearly one acre of fully fenced space where you can run, sunbathe, sniff the few trees, play with the hose and kiddie pool, whatever your pup’s heart desires! Above all, it is a safe and secure place for your beloved dogs. Newly added pergola, furniture and fire pit. Come and stay a while! The deck and pergola will be lit up for your evening visits We do our best to refund our guests when unforeseen circumstances arise, derailing your reservation.
